BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!

I highly recommend Jason Gaber. My divorce/custody battle started four years ago with a different firm before I began working with Jason. When I first filed for divorce/child custody, I made the mistake of hiring an attorney from a large law firm. I ended up feeling let down by that la...wyer, who lacked depth—a realization that didn’t dawn on me until much later. This mistake caused me significant financial loss for a variety of reasons. Fast forward a few years, my ex relocated to another state, which was adequate cause to modify our parenting plan. Additionally, I had to relitigate the issue of asset distribution after discovering that my ex had concealed certain assets. Fortunately, Jason took on my case. The knowledge and skills that he brought to the table made a world of difference compared to my previous attorney. He was instantly involved and incredibly informative. With decades of experience and a relentless commitment to achieving the best outcome while prioritizing my child's welfare, he expertly handled my case with remarkable efficiency. This was crucial for maintaining costs. Jason never suggested wasting the Court's time with frivolous petitions; instead, he focused on my case and guided me towards the most effective strategy for success. When my ex and his attorney brought forth baseless petitions, Jason was masterful at being able to present truth to the Court. Jason’s thorough presentation of materials before mediation was so compelling that it persuaded my ex to settle our assets and agree to a modified parenting plan, effectively avoiding a trial at all costs. You would be quite lucky if Jason agrees to take you on as a client. His vast experience in King County over several decades is incredibly valuable, giving him significant familiarity with colleagues, judges, and arbitrators. I wish I had done more research and found Jason sooner.

Helpful, Practical, and Concise

Hiring Mr. Gaber was a great relief, and one of the best decisions I made after I decided to leave a relationship and provide a better life for my young son. No matter how prepared I thought I was for this process - separation, parenting plan, child support - it was still probably one of the most d...ifficult and painful experiences I have ever had. I am well aware I am not alone, and given what I have heard and seen from others I learned that having a competent advocate who knows every aspect of how family law cases work is crucial. What Mr. Gaber does that sets him apart from those who just have the knowledge is that he can explain the process in a manner that is so clear and concise, and he follows through on everything - very quickly. Through much of this process there were times I felt rather paralyzed and unable to make decisions, even though I knew what eventually needed to happen. Mr. Gaber spelled out my options, what would likely be the outcome (and what *should* happen, as they are not always the same thing), and he was honest in what the cost of each step would be. There were a couple circumstances where he could have gotten some more work for himself and money out of my by pushing for a contempt motion, but he respected my decision to pick my battles and be conservative with what limited resources I had throughout the process. He let me know there were no guarantees in the outcome, but I felt like I had a major advantage in just having him handle the discussions with my former partner's attorney. Mr. Gaber was the second lawyer I hired for my case. The lawyer I used to get my case started had the most fantastic paralegal who worked hard and fast to get my declaration done and filed in time to get a restraining order. However, over the next couple months I realized that law firm was VERY expensive and I was not able to communicate with the attorney in a manner that made the process any easier. Mr. Gaber was different. Just before I hired him, he took a moment to review the temporary orders under discussion, and drafted an email addressing a few paragraphs. That email, in one page, had all the information I needed to take a position. It was all in just a few minutes of time, and I had been spending a month (and a lot of money) discussing it with my previous attorney. Mr. Gaber was clearly a better match for me. I have a very busy and stressful work schedule and I spend a lot of time shuttling a kid around to school, sports, etc. Mr. Gaber was great about keeping me updated via email so I could handle matters outside of my work day and after my kid was in bed. There were a couple times I would have been okay with a phone call when it was something more time sensitive. But the reality is that I was overwhelmed during that time frame and did not always check my email promptly. He made his best efforts to keep me on track. I would not wish this process on anyone. But if it ever happens I would recommend Mr. Gaber to keep you grounded, informed, and provide reasonable advice.

Wonderful Family Law Lawyer

I was a father of a 2 year old at the time (3 1/2 now) and was battling to get a reasonable amount of time with my daughter. I had an ex who was relentless and threw everything but the kitchen sink at us! Jason Handled my case with professionalism and is unbelievably talented in the court room. I got... everything I was hoping to get as far as time with my daughter thanks to Jason's vast and accurate knowledge of the law. I highly recommend his services to anyone going through a family law case.

Practical and courtroom skilled

Jason knows the law and is very smart in coming up with strategies for making it work for you. Your situation might involve court filings, working with court house personnel -- Jason is a practical lawyer who knows how things work. I was completely confident in his ideas and plans, and he got the... results we wanted. When we had questions and "what ifs," he was very helpful. Our situation involved parenting plans. His approach was not only practical but helpful in coming up with a plan that was easy to work with, with few loose ends and points of friction.

Unbelievably Honest for a Lawyer

I called Mr. Gaber today in an attempt to retain him. After he so graciously listened to my concerns, he advised that retaining him at this point would be a waste of my money. He explained that I have nothing to worry about in terms of my ex's attorney threatening me. He said that if something get...s filed, I can contact him then. I find this extremely interesting. He listened to me and wouldn't take my money. I was willing to borrow money to retain him. I don't know of any other lawyer that would do this. He agreed that I could give him a retainer for any possible incidences, but he was very honest in his responses to me. When something actually transpires, I will be hiring him.
