When I initially met Jason I thought I was in good hands, he seemed very astute. I was onbviously emotionally distressed, why else would I need an attorney, right? I gave him my defense and evidence of which he "Cherry picked" through as he stated. Because I trusted him ( Never trust a lawyer) I did not bother to review what he submitted. He left out the meat of my case and there was no going backward. He missed the first hearing blaming it on his secretary, leaving me alone to seek a continuation in court without him, then he showed up late on the following hearing. He was unprepared and held a wimpy defense as though he really did not care. Then following the loss he billed me an additional $3200 above the $2,000 retainer. Do not hire him. He is just a salesman and does not care if you win or lose, he cares about how much he can bill you for !

I hired Jason after a good consult. He was knowlegable and had ideas on how to process my case in my kids best interests right from the start. He help me as a Father get and keep 50/50 custody and decison authority of my kids.
Jason is very good at explaining legal lingo and processes in a way a non legal person can understand. He knows his way around the Family law system. He was also straight foward when dealing with me, my Ex's council and the courts. Unlike some Attorney's he did not promote the typical dirty games that can be played in Divorce cases, yet knew how to combat them when the other side tried to play them.
Jason is known and respected by the Judges/Comissioners and other Attorney's in the Kent Reginal Justice center.
Lastly, his rates were very resonable compared to other Attorneys I consulted.
I would recomend Jason's services to anyone going through a Divorce, child custody or other Family law matter.

MR. Gaber was a referral through an agency my work partners with. The consultation was what sold me. My situation and the cause of my divorce wasn't exactly cut and dry, in fact quite the opposite. From the moment I explained my situation I felt confident he could handle it with ease.
What i liked best was not needing any face to face, travel time or appointments. Getting a divorce is a headache enough. Everything was done via email, mail or phone. Very 21 century. My case took a bit of time to finalize, through no fault of Mr. Gaber, but the patience was appreciated.
But I think the best part of hiring him was the honest feedback and advice he offered. It helped guide my case to the best possible conclusion.
A 15 year marriage ended, and that sad but when push comes to shove, you want this guy on your team. Worth every penny!
