Ingredient to success

My software and consulting company first began working with Mark Walters in 2010, as we were preparing to grow the company. Since then, Mark has provided priceless council on a number of aspects of our ongoing growth. Mark has helped us with a variety of topics including software licensing, general c...ontracting, client negotiation, and been our general legal oracle. He has been responsive, patient, and clear as we have worked to gain a better understanding of the various legal aspects to contracts and running a company. In addition to the important role he personally has played in our growth, he has also been a fantastic resource to connect us with other relevant legal expertise as well as with the Seattle business community more generally. We have come to rely on Mark and consider him an essential ingredient to our success.

Valuable service and information

I am a part of the Bellevue, Washington, business community and I confer with Mark D. Walters from time to time on business and legal issues. Mark is super responsive, easy to reach and he always answers my questions in plain English to help me manage risks in a practical and common sense manner. Th...ese are some of the reasons why I refer Mark to my business owner contacts when they need legal help.

Trusted attorney and advisor

Mark D Walters consistently provides outstanding legal services. Mark has helped me with three different business matters and he has consistently exceeded expectations. He stepped right in for me during a contentious confrontation and ultimately delivered a positive result when I thought it near impo...ssible. Mark is the guy you want in your corner for many reasons. His advice has always been spot on, his communication is top notch, and he has always managed to give some value add to each situation. He has a keen mind for business, which helps him understand the perspective of his clients. He doesn't try to BS you and is willing to help you find a more appropriate resource on matters that aren't one of his specialties. He is always looking out for your business interests, as if they were his own. I HIGHLY recommend Mark D Walters to advise and handle all legal matters, especially if you are looking to grow and expand your company.

A real pleasure

I have been nothing but impressed with Mark. He's easy going, flexible and offers great advice. Mark helped me protect my company by trademarking the company and products. He drafted employee and contractor employment and exit agreements, as well as contracts between companies. He has always re...sponded quickly with questions asked in email, and has gone out of his way to sync up with me on a regular basis to help ensure that I know the things I need to know when I need to know them. This was at my request, and Mark has always followed through.

Working with Mark has been Great!

I hired Mark to be our General Counsel in 2012 and received tremendous value from him. He's become a trusted adviser to me and my company.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
