I cannot say enough about Ken Goodin, I had a very unusual Divorce. He is is class act. His integrity is above reproach. His firm is top notch. I am an Oregonian, but live and work in Germany. I have never met him in person, but I hope to. This was a nightmare situation that he worked through and th...e outcome was acceptable and even more acceptable, given the opposition. I have one word of advice. use arbitration. This was not a cheap divorce but I will never regret using Ken or his firm. He will know who I am, if you need a first hand unbiased opinion he will know who I am. Best to all, stay out of court and heal. Listen to him, he is that good.

I never write reviews online but had to make an exception in this case as Ken's assistance in handling my divorce was phenomenal. If you're reading this review maybe you're in the same boat as I was- completely foreign to the dissolution process, unsure of Oregon case law pertaining to divorce, and w...anting nothing more than sweet, sweet freedom from the shackles of a miserable spouse who is doing their best to suck every last drop of happiness and every last cent of net worth out of you. If getting married was one of the worst decisions I've made in the last decade (it was) then becoming a client of Ken's was one of the best. I'm the type of person that likes to game every conceivable scenario and Ken's insight into the legal system and what was possible and effective in terms of angles to approach and negotiation strategies was indispensable. I wanted nothing more than to finish the divorce proceedings quickly and with as little expense as possible and Ken made that a reality. Ken was extremely polite, responsive, well-spoken, and meticulous through every step of the process. Let's face it- good legal counsel is expensive and here just like anywhere you are going to get what you pay for. Despite his patient and meticulous nature I believe that the time he spent on my case was calculated very reasonably given the amount of information I had provided to him regarding my circumstances. I would not hesitate to contact Ken if his services are needed again in the future. Thanks Ken!

I had a special divorce case since I am living outside USA, while my family is in Oregon. I wanted to hire the best knowledgeable lawyer, yet someone I could trust he will look after my interest. After doing a thorough research on the best lawyers in central Oregon, and having done actually many sess...ions with the best lawyers according their highest ranks, I came to conclude that Ken was the best lawyer from the first session. Ken was very informative, professional, and would go the extra mile. Ken’s work is very detailed; he is a hard worker, punctual and always giving the right and most realistic advice whether it is regarding my legal rights, negotiation with my spouse or drafting of divorce terms. I am very glad he was my lawyer until I got my divorce, in which Ken acted on my behalf and I did not have to visit USA all during the course of divorce. Moreover, Ken has also been supportive and active during post divorce period either through giving advice on agreement interpretations or communicating with my Ex-wife. I can't imagine finding a better attorney to guide me through my divorce than Ken. He has the most calming, respectful demeanor. He always kept me up to date on my case and helped me through every decision I had to make along the way. I never had a question he didn't know the answer to. No matter... what the other side did, he always knew how to respond. He was calm, deliberate, and prepared at every turn. His legal assistant, Nicole, is also amazing (Hi, Nicole!). I will always be thankful that I found Ken and how he helped me navigate such a difficult time in my life with such compassion and professionalism, and most of all, respect for my feelings and where I was in the divorce process.
