Robert or "Beau" was my "co-attorney," for lack of a better word, within the firm Stahancyk, Kent and Hook for a divorce that has taken almost 2 years due to the dragged out process demanded from the opposing petitioner and counsel. Not only was I fortunate enough to have Beau, often defending on a daily basis, but I believe his firm is equally as fortunate to have him as a member of their team.
Beau is one of the most efficient and accurate human beings I have ever met-including under pressure. He has a memory and understanding of facts that most of us can only dream of. His capacity to positively manage and use technology in court cases is impressive. Best of all, when the client is falling apart, or when he is under attack by opposing counsel, it seems to be water rolling off his back and his cool head prevails. Yet, he seems very understanding and aware of the client's (or anyone's) emotional burden during the divorce process. Beau does not seem to ruffle from anything (while the rest of us inexperienced bystanders are dumb struck horrified by contentious actions). Beau has an excellent understanding of family law and finances. It is obvious that his number one concern is for his client. I could not have been in better hands. He was available 24/7. He was also very helpful in assuring my older children's voices were heard in the court system. I think the case for my kids was a bit of a "Hail Mary Pass," in this state though it succeeded in large part because of the factual work of Beau.
My only concern for Beau is that he works so hard for the justice of families falling apart (amidst disorder that I was not sure he could see-but does), that I hope he keeps his own family in mind and spends enough time on that side of the fence. Beau Kellogg is nothing but honor, integrity, dedication and efficiency. He is also a kind and understanding human being. I am amazed (and felt sorry for him sometimes ;-) ) at how well he dealt with all my mistakes, need for re-explaining and my post-treatment inefficient brain under duress. I highly recommend Beau.
Beau handled a very complicated and contentious divorce for me. He has an amazing mind for facts and issues, which was very important in this case. He is one of the most organized people I have ever met, which was also vital. He is a great communicator and kept me informed about all aspects of the case. He is gracious under fire, persistent, thorough, and able to keep above the fray when attacked by opposing counsel. His ability to use technology in this case to keep it organized was incredible. I doubt you could find a more honest person. I was lucky to have him on this case, and recommend him highly.
Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Beau Kellogg worked in a variety of legal areas. Beau spent several months working at the Center for Justice in Spokane, WA at their low-income legal aid desk providing vital legal services to impoverished members of the local community. After that experience, Beau went to Las Vegas, NV where he worked for the Federal Public Defender in their Capital Habeas Unit representing death row inmates in their federal appeals. Beau then worked at Lane County Public Defender Services representing clients in misdemeanor cases.
Beau Kellogg is an active member of the Oregon State Bar Association, and the Lane County Bar Association. He also participates in the New Lawyers Division of the Oregon Bar. Beau also makes an effort to attend as many Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes as possible to keep up to date with changing trends in the law.
In addition to his pro bono legal work at the Center for Justice and Lane County Public Defender Services, Beau has worked at and supported several non-legal charities including Hospice, Anna Ogden Hall and American Boston Terrier Rescue.
In 2010 Beau received the Nicole Richardson Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award from a University of Oregon foundation and the Hitchcock-Kenna Award for Pro Bono Service from Oregon Law Students Public Interest Fund.

Here is an attorney you can trust!!
Robert "Beau" Kellogg is the consummate professional. He is honest to a fault, and works very hard for his clients. He is especially responsive to client's questions whether by email or phone, and he is amazing at keeping his clients updated on a regular basis, something I do not believe very many attorneys do. He is professional, articulate and intelligent, knowledgeable, a great listener, and his ability to deal with hands on clients such as I am is beyond reproach. He takes the time to explain things to his clients and makes sure that they understand everything that is happening. Beau's ability to remain calm with clients who are upset is also excellent. Divorces can be stressful, and he is there for the client, yet does not get ruffled by much. I recently spend close to a year working side by side with Beau in a divorce that was especially ugly, and he did a great job. Not only would I hire him again, but I would definitely recommend him to others.
