Foreclosure/Loan Modification

I luckily stumbled upon Michael Shurtleff and his knowledge about bank loan modifications and foreclosure issues while desperately researching information online. His comments in a blog for those also dealing with the these types of issues were incredibly helpful and revealed his passion for helping... those who had been negatively impacted by the real estate downturn, underwater on their loans, and fighting the bank - where inconsistencies in information provided to their customers resulted in financial damage to the customer. Michael listens, considers his client's personal circumstances - i.e. timing, financial situation, home valuation facts, etc. - and advises and supports his clients accordingly. He isn't "cookie cutter" - he presents numerous options and possible outcomes, and absolutely helps to advise clients as to what is in their best interest...and it isn't necessarily the option that brings him more fees. I am very impressed with how personable he is - a very valuable member of our decision making team. I would recommend Michael Shurtleff to anyone who is battling their bank having no success on their own (which is pretty much anyone who is battling the bank!)

MERS Judicial Foreclosure Help

Called Michael for a consultation regarding our judicial foreclosure. We are in the beginning stages and have many questions. Michael went through the steps involved in the process and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. Most attorney's that we contacted would not even answe...r our questions because they do not want to deal with foreclosures that involve MERS. Michael was very knowledgeable and went through all of our options. We would definitely recommend Michael to anyone wanting a friendly, competent & trustworthy attorney.

Knowledge is Power

Mr. Shurtleff responded quickly to my concerns on a foreclosure. He is easy to talk to and educated me on the best course of action to take. He is incredibly personable and a great asset when you’re dealing with a foreclosure. I am fortunate to have Michael as my attorney and I highly recommend him.

Michael Shurtleff saves my client from foreclosure

Recently I was approached by a person referred to me who was three days from the foreclosure sale of their property, and two of those days were the weekend. I referred the person to Michael Shurtleff and he was able to get the foreclosure postponed, allow the person to enter into a short sale and spa...re them from more significant credit damage. His attention to detail and pro-active actions were well above what was expected. He worked on Saturday to draft the necessary legal documents, and was at a judge's office first thing Monday morning to get the necessary signatures. His efforts are commendable and he is extremely knowledgable. I recommend him without hesitation.

Home Foreclosure Help

Mr. Shurtleff was very informative and helpful during the foreclosure process on our home. We would use him and his office in the future if any needs arised.
