Waste of money

This guy had no idea what he was doing when he filed my case, he missed several federal laws that left me with over$15000 in debt that he assured me would be discharged in the chapter 7. He sure collected his fees though, even though he only got about $4000 discharged for me. Then he wouldn't help me... refile or file an appeal with the bankruptcy court without, yup you guessed it, me giving him more money! I wish I could do my job completely wrong and incompetently and still get paid! If you're looking for a knowledgeable, communicative, responsible lawyer - keep looking.

Two Thumbs Up!

I am totally inept with 'legalease' and D. Jacobson and his staff worked tirelessly to help me resolve my issues. He did everything that was promised at the onset, and followed through marvelously. While I hope that my need for legal assistance will be minimal, if I ever am in need of help, I know ...that David Jacobson will do all in his power to assist me in a favorable resolution to any issue that I may encounter.

Respectful

We found Mr. Jacobson and his assistant, Jennifer, to be very respectful to us during a difficult time in our lives. They were supportive and understanding and actually made us feel better about a decision that was initially very uncomfortable to us. They didn't pass judgement and helped us see a l...ight at the end of our financial tunnel. They both worked efficiently and the process went very smoothly with no unpleasant surprises.

What determines Avvo Rating?

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
