William took a $75 dollar consult fee from me and barely reviewed my case. Didn't ask any questions and then said it wasn't a strong case. I was seeing a dentist in Longview wa for a span of 5 years. They failed to treat. Failed to diagnose two cavities (Both in erupted wisdom teeth). WE ALL KNOW... that leaving cavities in your mouth for extended periods of time CAUSES infection, gum disease and loss of healthy teeth. This violates the standard level of care of a dentist in WA state under RCW 18.32.020. It is a dentists duty to diagnose and treat your issues BEFORE the infection, pulling of crowns and not being able to FEEL the left side of my face since I was their patient. A 5 year span with a dentist shouldn't result in your situation worsening!!! Not a very in the KNOW how on medical issues if you don't know this... maybe he needs to find a diff practice area.

BIG bucks earned in a med mal settlement b/c of Will! First off, I had a daunting case. I called what felt like every lawyer in town who did mad mal and didn't have one even willing to take my case. I got an initial OR State Bar referral meeting with Will and a few months later he got me a H...UGE settlement that was more than I would ever have dreamed possible since I felt so insecure about the case. Will was able to find critical components that other attorneys didn't have the insight or experience to draw upon. He is articulate and smart as a whip. He doesn't lie, he's not a scumbag lawyer looking at the easiest way to get you to settle. He was open to take my case to trial as we had some serious upsides, but very daunting downsides, too. I ultimately decided I'd rather settle our case (with the life-changing money awarded) on the table and haven't looked back at that once in years, to question if I should have gone to trial! I've consulted with Will here and there and found him to be smart, straight forward, and loyal. I do want to tell you this is a hard-working man and has help but he's BUSY and don't feel like you're nagging if you have to call him a couple of times, or better yet, set up a face-to-face as he works so hard for each client that he can get caught up in the work on his plate--not a bad thing when you're the client--trust me!!

My minor child was attacked by a group of tweeked out druggies in our yard. My child was forced to defend himself. The cops then arrested my child on the grounds of defending himself with what he had in his hand at the time being in their terms "a deadly weapon". Not a single bad guy was charged with... a crime that night. My son had never been in trouble with the law, was a volunteer in the community, was very active in his school, and was an upstanding citizen... things were not looking too good for him since the cops wanted to charge him with attempt murder. It was a sickening time in our lives. We felt betrayed, alone, and paranoid of revenge from the bad guys and no protection from the police. Will Macke stepped in and took up my son's cause. He was steadfast, honest, and didn't waver. He knew his laws, supported my son's decisions, explained things on a level that we all understood, and even came to our home when he came to our town for court. Ultimately we won. All charges were dismissed. Will's knowledge of the laws, and his unwavering fight for my son was incredible. That was in 2011, and there is not one single day that goes by that I do not think of Will. Infact, I send him a Christmas card every year. He touched us on more than just a professional level. He defended my son as a friend would. I highly recommend him!! He's got your back!

I was a client of William Macke. My case was a straight forward, uncontested, adoption case. The initial consultation went well, there were a few basic questions that he was unable to answer off hand, but that didn’t really bother me, too much, since he noted the questions and let me know that he w...ould do research and get back to me right away. I was very patient and waited for his call back, to answer the open questions, as he said he would do. I waited almost 3 months without getting a call back. I finally called him back, and he was not available so I left a message. I waited another week without receiving a call back. I called again, and again had to leave a message, and was told he would call me back. I waited another week without hearing from him. I called back, again, and the person answering the phone apologized profusely and explained that she was not sure why he hasn’t called me back yet and would talk to him and have him call me back. I mentioned during the call, that, at this point, I really need to get things going, so if he is too busy with other things, please just let me know and I will go elsewhere. She assured me that he was not too busy to be able to take my case, and that I would hear from him in the next day or so. Well, a week later, I still didn’t hear from him. I finally had to give up on using William Macke as my attorney for this case. I was courteous enough to call his office again to let them know that I would have to use a different attorney, even though, he was not professional enough to return any of my calls or follow through with his promises. I would not recommend using William Macke as your attorney.

Will Macke has worked with me on two different cases simultaneously, a criminal case and a child support case. My experience working with him was excellent. I would describe Will as a human being, that actually cares about helping you. He kept in contact with me at all times, getting back to me pr...omptly; if he does not know something, he will find out the answer and get back to you. I have a high level of respect for Mr. Macke for being genuine and caring. I have highly recommended him to other people and will continue to highly recommend him to anyone. If I ever need legal representation, he will be the first person I call. He is very reasonably priced.
