I don't even know where to begin. I was really nervous about hiring a lawyer. There are so many to choose from and I had never needed a lawyer before. But I found myself in way over my head trying to get caught back up with my debts after losing my job. I had been recommended to Jacob by a friend who... had also filed bankruptcy, and I am so lucky I called. He answered his own phone, answered all my questions and never once tried to hurry me off the phone. Then we scheduled an appointment and there was no fee for meeting him. I knew once I met him in person I had chosen the best person for me. He is really laid back, but professional at the same time. He helped me understand all of my options, answered all of my questions throughout the process, and was a great support. My bankruptcy went through quickly and the meeting of creditors was a breeze because he prepared me for everything ahead of time. And his fees were really inexpensive compared to some of the other attorneys I spoke with. He really helped me get my life back on track.

You could tell the ...judge knew him really well. In the end, he convinced the judge to drop all $2000 of fines the prosecutor was asking for and to give me community service. I couldn't believe it! I was able to get out of there with no jail and no fines, just community service. I recommend him to anyone who gets in trouble.
