Jasen was amazing from every aspect. I received a DUI when I was 18 and had no idea what to expect or what to do. So my parents and I decided to hire Jasen to help us through the process. He was very trustworthy, honest, open and comforting throughout this awful experience. He went to all the court d...ates and aided me through everything making it very clear what was needed and expected of me. I was able to pay all the fines, complete the classes and all other sentences in one year. I then had to hire Jasen for a second time when I was applying for nursing school the following year. The problem was that I could not be enrolled in the program if I was on probation. Jasen went to court with me in hopes of early termination of my probation. With Jasen's help I was able to get off probation after ONLY 13 MONTHS! Now that I am finishing nursing school, I am still extremely grateful for everything that he did for me, and I know if I ever had a question he would answer it promptly. I hired Jasen because he seemed like a trustworthy and reliable attorney..I was right! The first meeting with him he discussed my options and was really understanding about my situation. I was arrested for DUI at a rather quick rate of pace in Santa Barbara county. After a long night I walked out with no idea what to do, and totally scared out of my mind. A friend recommended I contact Jasen and I did, which turned out to be an excellent decision. I felt i was in the right place str...aight away. His office was relaxed and very professional, and after a couple meetings I felt a lot better having someone who was realistic but on my side to help me make things right. He explained things in a way I understood, treated me like a fellow human, and always kept me informed on the upcoming proceedings. He was able to get me the best possible deal with the court system, and I'm am very grateful for that. Jasen represented me in my DUI case and later, handled the expungement for me. I had never been to court before, and was nervous. He fully explained everything I should expect before my court date, and was in constant contact with me about everything. He met with me at the courthouse before my appea...rance, and talked to me to calm me down a bit and make sure I was ready for everything. I was originally facing a months jail time due to the circumstances of my case. He was able to talk to the DA and get my case down to a fine, and driving classes, and kept me out of jail and allowed me to keep my job. About a year and a half later, I contacted him about getting my case expunged from my record. I was no longer living in the area, but that wasn't a problem for him. He handled every part of the early termination and expungement process for me incredibly quickly, all while keeping me constantly informed of what to expect, and what he was going to do for me. I have now had the probation terminated and charge expunged less than 2 years after the fact, and I could have done none of it without him. Jasen showed a genuine care for not just my case, but for how I was doing as a person as well. I would recommend Jasen without hesitation to anyone in need of legal assistance. He helped me through a very trying time in my life, and I will be forever thankful to him for that.
