 About Frank Pray, Employment Attorney:

I've learned much over the 45 years of my career as a litigator.  For the last 25-plus years, I've devoted exclusively to employment law, leveling the field for employees.  I am a civil rights lawyer representing persons fired, laid off, or demoted because of race, sex, sexual orientation, sexual identity, religion, age, medical leave use, disability, national origin, and ethnicity.  I also represent employees who "blow the whistle" at work and are fired or harassed for doing so.  I also cover privacy and defamation issues arising out of employment.  For currently employed workers, I review and advise regarding severance agreements, employment agreements, and "trade secret & confidentiality agreements," including those that wrongly restrict the right to compete and find re-employment.  I also sue for unpaid wages, bonuses and commissions, and meal and rest break violations.

I graduated from the ABA-approved University of San Diego School of Law and was published in the school's Law Review.  After law school, I completed a two-year Executive MBA program at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.

I am an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section, and am a past Section Chairperson.  I am also a California Labor and Employment Lawyers Association member, dedicated to employee rights.  I belong to the Sacramento County and San Francisco County Bar Associations, Labor & Employment Law Sections.

I understand and appreciate the role of business in society.  Every business should earn profits by playing according to the rules of law and basic decency.  My passion is to be a top-level advocate for employees, fighting to get to the truth, despite the objections and obfuscations of the defense.

Attorney
I have had a professional business relationship with Frank Pray for 10+ years and have confidently referred many potential clients with employment law issues to him. Many of these potential clients have expressed gratitude for my referral, and for the advice and/or the representation that Frank gave them. I am a California licensed attorney handling civil and other types of cases. However, I don't handle employment law cases and hence my referrals to Frank. If ever I had a specific employment law question I too have found Frank's advice to be helpful and on point. It is my pleasure to endorse and recommend Frank Pray to answer/handle your employment law related question(s)/case(s).

I am so glad that I selected Frank Pray & Michael to respresent me
My friend Rene recommended Frank Pray and his office to me for my case. Years before, he had easily one her lawsuit against her employer for an abusive, hostile work environment. I also, was delighted with my selection as Frank and Michael are both highly skilled, thorough, and knowledgeable attorney's - I am happy to report that I won my case, and I will definitely use them again, whenever injustice rears it's ugly head again, against the innocent. Way to go Michael and Frank !! You both are wonderful, and I will always recommend you to my friends and colleagues.

Knows employee rights - zeros in on the essentials
I had a FMLA question that for me was not straight-forward. He was easy to access and when we spoke, he listened carefully, then gave me a specific outline of how to proceed backed up with rationale. He was right on target and saved me much worry and concern. Because he clarified my rights, it gave me the confidence to successfully negotiate with my employer. When you get great advice, not everything needs to go to court. A win-win attorney for me and my employer!

Fantastic lawyer
Francis Pray and Melissa Newman were a great team who identified the issues surrounding my case, reviewed each thoroughly and executed a plan of action. I would highly recommend retaining their services for any unjustified employment mistreatment. I felt protected and confident that my case would be handled well by them.
