I paid $175 for a consultation regarding child custody. We had a set time I was suppose to call 9am. I called 3 minutes early and it sounded like Mr. DeFrank had just woke up. He said I thought we said 9am. Um, okay. I let that pass. He had asked me to email him copies of a document the evening prior... and it was very obvious he had not looked at it once. During our 15 minute conversation he made comments that he could file this or that and if he would have looked at the paperwork or let me speak he would have known I had already done so. He speaks over you. When I mentioned I had done a lot of the footwork already he said well you don't know what your doing so I would go in and "fix" everything. Very rude and argumentative and I don't think he even knows what's he's doing. He was all over the place and when I asked him what would be the next clear course of action in moving forward in this case he said pay me. I meant with the case. No professionalism. He didnt have a clear plan and honestly talking with him confused me more. I'm so glad I googled him and saw these reviews because we had an initial good conversation the day before but that was only about 3 minutes and I was ready to hire him until I actually spoke with him for 15 minutes it was clear he didn't know much about the law or what could be done next. It was very obvious he didn't want to be on the phone any longer. He is not the representation you want. He's short with his answers and literally hung up after I told him I wasn't clear on what his plan of action was. He literally said "You can either hire me or not mam'n" lol, what? Go elsewhere. There is a reason he's only charging 2,500 for custody cases. He has no clients.

We have only retained lawyers from McGeorge. I guess he is what you get from Lincoln? He kept the entire retainer but never seemed to be familiar with our case. I was embarrassed FOR him in court. We filed a BBB complaint and he sent a threatening letter. We prefer to let the State Bar ...deal with him.

I am Mary Bazil I was denied today by the judge to have gardeningship of my grandson. Received Approval from RFA with letter, certificated and cpr certified. CPS, lost first application October 5th that was turned in by me. Orientation was the 2nd October. CPS Notified me November 7th by a c...all from mr. Hale. (Please note I called mr. Hale September after first court day.).LEFT message Please call me. November 7 th mr. Hale finally returned my call . Because he was in forming me RFA NEVER RECEIVED my application for RFA October 5th. But mr Hale made an appointment to do an assessment on me 19th November. And from there on how CPS/RFA WAS DEHIMULATING TO ME. I jumped in and did what CPS/RFA ASKED FOR. Can you be of help to fight CPS. Again iam approved by. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. If I could give him less stars I would. He is a scam artist. He never calls me back. His secretary would leave me on hold for so long until I would hang up. Then she would just ignore my calls. I know that because she answer immediately when I called from my another number.... She proceeded to say he answered but my connection was bad. # Bad at calls When he finally did answer my call weeks later he said I was a low priority client. My question is after working with him for little under a year. With all of this. How does he have any clients. # Took 2 grand and did nothing After my loss I was sent an invoice for a grand more. When he has never explained how the original grand was used. # Never showed up to court He would miss court. An claim he was never served with the papers. So he "would file" an appeal. Which never shows up in the case files. *If you go online you can check the progress of your case, just cannot download any files* It's all public information. That is how I know hes a lair. What papers he did "service" the respondent. Were never signed dated or even filed with the court. # Would leave aggressive voicemails I got a call from a very angry ex, whom shared with me the voicemails he would leave them. Hostile, boarderline violent, mean and threatening them. I hired him yes but not to abuse my ex. # He would Submit to the courts unfinished, poorly written and badly spelled documents. Every document he did submit was poorly written and always misspelled. The judge laughed at this. I looked like an idiot. # He never updated me on my case Up until the last court date. I never knew what was happening. Only thing he would tell me is that my pos ex would get what's coming. That I was in complete compliance of the law. When it came down to the last court date I was almost thrown in jail for my negligence. I was listening to my lawyers advice and it nearly wound me up in jail. Not only that I now have to pay 6x more then what I would have been if I never hired him. # Nor told me I needed to file or submit any documents. I was never told I had to submit any kind of documents. Which helped my ex win there case. # I lost my case due to his negligence. Not only did I lose, he was not even sorry and the day before court he charged me another grand which I never got back after the loss. # I never recieved a single email or document from him or his secretary. He never showed me how he spent my retainer. My ex showed me the timesheets they recieved from there lawyer. Down the the minute was charged and labled. # He would claim to have never recieved any sort or document or summons from the respondent. He played dumb saying he never recieved anything even after I saw that he was faxed everything. I dont understand we took an oth and he flat out lies. Over and over. To the point I feel he honestly believes it. There is something seriously wrong with this man. #He will take your money and never see you again. HES CHEAP FOR A REASON! HE WILL DO NOTHING!
