John C. Orcutt III was very cordial/polite and kept a professional domineer in court settings and he was timely with filing for court actions. We were disappointed when he did not use practical assistance, he later lost our confidence when he allow himself and us, his clients, to become overloaded. Under pressure he did not follow through by keeping, us, his clients' best interests in mind. Finally, he was quick to drop us, his clients, upon our criticism of the case before the end of the settlement. At the time, he was not adequate as a counselor, as a whole, and his billing lacked detail to our understanding.

If you want an attorney who listens to you and then explains the process and how to best deal with your issue Mr. Orcutt is for you. I have used him and found him to be knowledgeable, yet not afraid to say he needs to look up an issue.
More important, he explains the cost up front and clearly has the client's expense in mind when he suggests how to handle the case.
Other lawyers I've worked with have caused me to think they place getting billable hours ahead of the most cost effective way of getting the result the client needs.
If I ever need a lawyer again he is my go to guy.
