I am admitted to practice law in both California and Colorado (inactive status). I am presently practicing in Sacramento, where my practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and business litigation.
My professional background. For more then 25, years, I've been practicing law in Sacramento. I started to focus on white collar cruminal defense and busieness litigation in 1986 at Segal & Kirby as an associate and partner. In 1993, I started my own practice, focusing on business litigation and white collar crime. Over the past 25 years, I have represented numerous clients charged with white collar crimes in both state and federal court, including one of the principals in a $58 million international investment fraud scheme. I have trial experience in both state and federal court. I also served as an Advisory Board member to , a legal internet research portal which was eventually acquired by Thomson/West.
In 2006, I left private practice to serve as the Executive Director of Sacramento Child Advocates, Inc., a non-profit law firm whose attorneys represented the 3000-plus children in foster care in Sacramento County. SCA allowed me to pursue a passion of protecting innocent children who have been abused or neglected.
In 2012 I returned to private practice - focusing again on white collar criminal defense and business litigation. I continue to financially support non-profits that serve the foster care community.

Not proactive and charges too much $
Attorney Bob Wilson is a nice guy but in the legal world nice guys finish last. He charged me 2x the other firms and for nothing but reading emails and 3 visits to review my case.
