Move on, there's better lawyers out there!!
My fiance and I hired Bansmer to be our lawyer for my divorce. She was never "available" when you needed to get information about your case or where it was at. Then she made it almost impossible for the case to move forward even though my ex and I had come together and came up with an agreement on ou...
Jamie has been a client with my office since March of 2017. She came to me from another attorney’s office, as she was dissatisfied with the service. From that moment, we spent countless hours attempting to please her. Myself and my staff communicated with her after hours and on weekends, as we do with all our clients, to help her achieve the most positive and successful outcome. She would complain about the one thing we had not yet done, instead of being thankful for the hundreds of things we had already done for her. We were always met with threats of negative reviews online, no matter how hard we tried. As of yesterday, we put up our hands and waived our white flags, knowing full well that the lashing out and false accusations would occur. We realized that it was not what we did or did not do, it was not her divorce, or her ex-husband, or the custody or the Court. It was the lack of peace within. I hope you find true happiness Jamie. Best of luck.

suprised
After reading other reviews I thought I was going to get good advice and service. I was told to bring cash, and was not helped at all. They never let me know if the other party was served. I had to fill out the court docs myself and have never received a promised invoice.
Requiring a client to fill out portions of the court forms serves two very important purposes. The first is to have confidence that all facts have been shared with the office. The second is that the client can have the assurance that all information provided to my office will be disclosed. I personally review every document submitted by a client, revise and prepare it formally prior to being submitted to court. Both myself and my staff have reviewed every email and written request for an invoice over the last few months. I do apologize, however, we are unable to locate any request that was not fulfilled. If you are truly a retained client, you have been provided with my direct email and I would appreciate if you can contact me directly to discuss any request, questions or concerns that you may have. I always respond to my client’s concerns, whether it be personally or through my staff. If you were possibly a flat fee client, then no invoice would be sent unless specifically requested. Once again, I encourage you to contact us directly. My staff and I have been highly praised for our professionalism, and I am confident that given the opportunity, we can resolve any issue that you may have. Thank you for your time and I wish you the best.

WARNING
Ms. Bansmer gave poor advice, delayed our case over and over again, and charged us three times for a service that was never performed. Should you hire this attorney, be prepared to know the law yourself, do not depend on this office to be knowledgeable about your issue. Ms. Bansmer will give you fals...
My staff and I strive to go above and beyond for our clients, which we feel confident we did for you. We understand your bankruptcy was delayed due to your Father’s probate proceedings. Moving forward with your matter would have been detrimental and lead to many further issues, including a possible dismissal of your bankruptcy. As you are aware, finalizing a probate matter can take a long period of time, sometimes years. In your particular case, it took approximately one year before the probate matter was finalized and closed. You must understand that the change of circumstances and proceedings are out of our control and we do not have the ability or right to expedite these kinds of ordeals. Furthermore, President Obama’s latest change in the laws regarding debt forgiveness for consumer homes typically benefits the homeowner. In your case however, it affected your bankruptcy qualification. We strongly believe we did everything possible to assist you considering your personal circumstances. You have our condolences for your Father’s death and we strive to do our best for all of our clients. Our office spent over 72 hours on your case and provided you with a discount of 53% in legal services. This discount was given in an attempt to make this process go as smoothly and painlessly as possible for you due to the loss of your father. We are sorry you believe we did not provide satisfactory service, but we feel strongly that we have done everything accordingly. We wish you the best of luck.
"I endorse this lawyer. Erica is a bold and experienced family law attorney. I worked with her in my office and as opposing counsel on a few cases. She does good work."
"Erica is very knowledgeable and assertive but also honest with her clients about realistic expectations. An attorney that will will fight for their client but and give theman honest assessment of their case can be hard to find."
