They were highly responsive and knowledgeable, but lacked transparency in the area of billing. I never received a notification when my retainer was eclipsed, and received an itemized bill that was less than transparent. Pretty steep pricing considering they just reviewed the prenuptial agreement my f...iancé's lawyer created. Her lawyer only charged a total of $1,300 TOTAL for the majority of the work. These folks charged 3x that for doing less than a 3rd of the work.

I hired Phong maybe week before my court date and i am leaving review after 16 months because i did not want to leave negative review but the reason of review, I believe any or every lawyer file DVRO against restraining orders, I keep telling him every single day, he did charge me for all emails, cal...ls, messages so i paid him almost $18000 but he never filed DVRO, i was shocked to see his email again today about balance, balance?? yes he never filed DVRO but still wants more money for ?? ofcourse DVRO!!! heyy phong atleast learn whatever necessary in any court case, does it feel shame to you or you dont know what is shame?? learn on your own time and money do not put anyone down for your education - take it as suggestion mr. phong, whenever i talk to anyone, everyone says phong has done wrong but i never cared, had one other court date , the case was not even filed , they never informed me, when I went to court and tried to call them then they told me "Oh that was already fixed" what kind of lawyer is this or this is called lawyer??

Phong Nguyen is a true miracle in this broken court system. I had the opportunity to work with Phong as my attorney and he’s absolutely amazing. Phong has a natural gift he’s very good at reading people and situations. It is very difficult to get sole custody in California. Phong Nguyen made it! Phong got me both sole legal and sole physical custody through a trial. What impressed me most was his EQ, that he was able to see through the psychology of the opponent, and line up evidence to convince Court that sole cus...tody would be best for the child in my case. I suppose most family attorneys are familiar with the rules and procedures, strategies and tactics. What distinguishes a successful lawyer is his sharp gut feeling, sensitivity to each party's emotional pattern, and the ability to predict a party's reaction given a piece of evidence or inquiry. Phong was also able to accomplish the trial within limited budget. He was very considerate of my family's situation, and planned the shortest route to reach the goal. I feel he is a lawyer with a heart - a golden attribute!

Phong is extremely ethical, down to earth, professional, sharp, and a tornado of energy you want on your side when dealing with opposing attorney's and in the courtroom. He's a winner, period.  I will admit to being a rather difficult client, jaded by previous Family Law attorney experience (other f...irms, two of them) and substantial financial loss, all which Phong handled with grace.  All I can say is, I wish I would have found Phong and the Nguyen & Limon team at the beginning of my case as it would have spared me the financial heartburn and substantially reduced my stress by driving a shorter time to resolution.
