Happy and recommended her to a friend

Ekaterina managed my divorce proceedings, and I was extremely satisfied with her handling of my case. She was proactive in communicating expectations, potential challenges, and the necessary steps. I have since recommended her to a friend.

Phenomenal help with divorce and step-parent visitation

Ekaterina Berman helped me with my divorce and, most important, she took on a task that all the lawyers I spoke with did not want to take on: step-parent visitation. I raised my step-son as my own child, but, unfortunately, his mother and I had to part ways and his mother suddenly decided to cut me ...off from my step-son. Suddenly not seeing my the child I love as my own was devastating. I found Ekaterina Berman through a Google search and spoke to her about my options. I shared with her the fact that other lawyers I spoke to did not want to take on my case. Ekaterina explained the law on step-parent visitation to me and told me specifically what she would do to reunite me with my step-son. Ekaterina explained to me that, in a way, this was an uphill battle, but, based on our conversation, I felt confident that she knew what she was doing and that she was going to do the right thing for me. Ekaterina Berman worked incredibly hard to help me get step-parent visitation for my step-son. This process took over a year to complete. During the entire process, Ekaterina has proven to be very knowledgeable and more than capable of providing a phenomenal work ethic and great communication skills. We had a 2-day trial and the judge decided in my favor! There are no words that can describe how much I really do appreciate everything that she has done for my family. Ekaterina is an amazing person and the best attorney!

Ekaterina is very professional and knowledgeable about US green card and California family law

I discovered my husband was planning to cheat on me during COVID-19. I needed help to understand what's my situation look like when I get a divorce with him. I found Ekaterina through Yelp. As a new immigration in the US, facing a very difficult time by myself right now. I have no family support he...re, and I have to do all this by myself. Ekaterina set up a zoom meeting with me right after my first email, she was very professional and knowledgeable. She helped me fully understand what's my green card situation. I talked to at least 3 family layers in the bay area, Ekaterina is the only one who helped me to walk through all important numbers (spousal fee, community property separation etc.) which is what exactly I needed at this moment. She helped me to understand what's the worse and what's the best when I get a divorce with my husband. She won my trust! I will come to her when I lead the divorce way in the future.

Awesome Lawyer!

Ekaterina is a great experienced family immigration lawyer. She is very professional, understanding, and knowledgable. She was very prompt with her replies whether by email or phone, and she always provided the best solutions when it came to immigration and obtaining citizenship. I would recommend he...r for any legal matters, including divorce, family law, spousal support, child support, custody and visitation, property division, and domestic violence restraining orders. Much more than a lawyer, she is always there for you!

Me and my fiancé needed advice for my K1 Visa application. We found Ekaterina's Law office online and since then we've been really happy to keep her as our family attorney. She guided us through the entire process. The visa, prenup agreement and marriage overall. Now she is taking care of my adjustme...nt of status and work permit applications. She is very professional and speaks many different languages including Spanish (my home country). Communication with her has always been flawless (Phone, email, regular mail and SMS) before and after my arrival to the US. She took care of everything, letting me and my fiancé enjoy our time together without having to worry of paperwork. We will definitely continue to use her legal advise for future needs.
