I had recently been arrested for my first DUI. Being that I have never been in that situation before, I was in a panic and was distressed about what was to come next. I had called numerous lawyers and most came across as rude and did not want to explain anything unless I came in a paid for a consulta...tion, which Is understandable considering it is a business and everyone's time is important. I came across Emily through word of mouth and after reading her reviews I gave her a call. She picked up on the first call . Emily was the only one who put aside time to listen to my situation and gave me a detailed explanation of what I had to do. By the tone of her voice alone I knew she that she was sincere and truly wants to help. She advised me through each step of the process and kept me up to date on everything that was happening. Promptly responded to all my emails. If she did not pick up the phone call, she would call back in a reasonable amount of time. She is sincere, professional, and absolutely knowledgeable. Hiring Emily was the best decision I made.

The other lawyers I talked to before Emily, seemed arrogant and rude. After talking to Emily, she was very polite, explained my options and was very confident she could reduce my DUI to a wet reckless and she did. We went to court and she explained all the legal jargon and was right there by my side ...if I had any questions. If you're in a situation and you need lawyer, then I highly recommend Emily; she's polite, professional and she was able to reduce my charges.

Didn't inform me of my options. She told me i had to accept prop 36 because the court wouldn't re-refer me to DEJ. Come to find out later that I had an option to have a hearing that would be held in a different department with a totally different judge. I wouldn't doubt it if she helped the judge t...hink of all the conditions penalties fines etc in the "Book he threw at me". total waste of $750 for 20 mins of misconduct that was should of been representation. I feel for anyone even my worst enemy that hires her
