Who does that? Her assistant at the time, a guy, showed up at court in her place. I was NOT informed nor did I approve. He wasn’t up to par with my case and the opposing attorneys railroaded him. I felt like a fool and the judge didn’t appear too pleased either. It was humiliating and disrespectful. ...How do you avoid hiring an attorney like this? How was I supposed to know?

I think I know who posted the 12/17/2017 review, and they didn't hire Carolyn Cain - I did. After years of having a do-nothing attorney for an incredibly complicated case and multiple attempts to wrest free of that one, Carolyn Cain took me on and within days Carolyn got me out of a serious fix and ...within months we were all caught up. I think the 12.17.17 reviewer actually wanted me to fail, and Carolyn definitely mucked up those plans!

I was not impressed with the work Carolyn did for me. She cost me a lot more money than I could afford. Didn't get much done in the way of settling matters. She actually stirred up more problems and the opposing side ended up taking me to the cleaners. She thought she could outsmart them and they... called her out and it just made things worse for me in the long run. I would not reccomend her unless you want someone with shady practices working for you

We have had many probate matters with Attorney Cain and she has been great in every one! She really knows her stuff and anything she doesn't remember off the top of her head she is great at finding the actual code sections explaining it. She also answers all of my silly questions (some multiple times...!) and is not arrogant or condescending when explaining things I need to know! She works hard for Conservatees, she is great with probate accountings and she returns phone calls promptly!

I used Carolyn as my divorce attorney, she explained the court process to me in a clear and comprehensible way. Carolyn is always prepared and consistently reassured me throughout the divorce. My ex-husband would not settle on many issues and we had to go to trial and court several times. My ex-husba...nd's attorney was unprepared and like my ex, made the process very difficult and drag on. Each time we went to court, the judge ruled in my favor. She will try to settle your case but is well prepared if you need to go to trial. She stood up to my ex and his council despite both strongly disliking her. No doubt some of the reviews posted on this site are written by a disgruntled opponent or their indignant client. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Carolyn Cain's services as a dissolution attorney.
