I met Jonathan at a really bad time in my life. I was in the middle of a divorce and custody battle. My ex and i had been representing ourselves in court without much movement. After 6 months of this my ex hired an attorney and i started losing hearing after hearing. Realizing that I needed someone to stand with me, I reached out to a bunch of lawyers. At our initial consultation, Jonathan quickly stood out. He was compassionate but provided a clear, unemotional roadmap that he felt I needed to pursue. I went with my gut and hired him, and never regretted the decision. Jonathan was great in court, he would often catch mistakes made by the other lawyer on various documents she submitted, he never got sucked into the drama of the other attorney, and actually helped me normalize relations with my ex. the divorce is finally over, and my ex and I are sharing custody. Jonathan took a horrible situation and helped me get my life back. If anyone is going through something similar, I would absolutely suggest hiring this lawyer.

Like most of you, I had never been divorced, didn't know what to expect and I really needed someone to walk me through everything. From our initial consultation, it was clear that Jonathan was that person. His grasp of my situation was immediate, and he really honed in on the issues that he knew were likely to flare up during the divorce. I was also also put at ease by his interest in my kids, their safety and making sure that they were least effected by the whole process. My ex and I were not exactly getting along at the beginning (ha ha), but through his professionalism with the other attorney and in court, Jonathan really set the tone of the interactions between the four of us, and I truly believe that this helped normalize communication between my ex and I. I can't imagine it was a perfect divorce, but it was much easier, less stressful, and more amicable than I had hoped for. Thank you for everything, Jonathan.

I had been dealing with a very malicious ex and her lawyer who were dragging me back to court every couple of months to try and squeeze every dollar out of me that they could. Something didn't seem right about the numbers so (finally!) I had enough and looked for an attorney. Not only was Mr. Lyvere able to correctly calculate support (it turns out it had been incorrectly calculated by my ex's attorney, surprise surprise), reducing my payments to what was fair, but after all of the dust settled.....silence from the other side. It has been 6 months and not a peep from the ex or her attorney. If you feel like you are being taken advantage of and you want someone who is fair and on your side, Mr. Lyvere is the man.
