I met Jonathan for a consultation a few months ago. I've never been divorced but it was looking like that was in the cards for my spouse and I. I had a lot of questions about what that would actually mean and look like for our kids, and the life we had built over th past 11 years. As soon as I w...alked into his office, Jonathan put me at ease. He made sure I knew that even though he dealt with this all of the time, my situation was still unique because it was MY situation and I really felt like he understood this. He listened to all of my questions and explained my rights to me, and how things were likely to play out if we went to court. The way he explained things made it very easy for me to understand, making what I thought would be an overwhelming experience into an encouraging one. My spouse and I have not decided what we are going to do yet, but I feel much better knowing that Jonathan is a phone call away if I need him.

I first met Jonathan when I scheduled a consultation over a year ago. I appreciated how he was straight forward with me and answered all of my questions clearly. What I really liked was that he wasn't focused on getting me to hire him, and advised me to try to work out an agreement with my ex before ...taking things to court. Jonathan explained that court was always an option, but it was the most expensive and should be used as a last resort. Unfortunately, my ex was unreasonable and I hired Jonathan a few months later. I was as impressed with Jonathan in the courtroom as I was in his office. Never showy, Jonathan treated everyone with respect, but made sure that my case was made effectively. My case is over now, and I am very pleased with the outcome. Hopefully I'll never need to use him again, but it is comforting to know that he is there.

Like most of you, I had never been divorced, didn't know what to expect and I really needed someone to walk me through everything. His grasp of my situation was immediate, and he really honed in on the issues that he knew were... likely to flare up during the divorce. I was also also put at ease by his interest in my kids, their safety and making sure that they were least effected by the whole process. My ex and I were not exactly getting along at the beginning (ha ha), but through his professionalism with the other attorney and in court, Jonathan really set the tone of the interactions between the four of us, and I truly believe that this helped normalize communication between my ex and I. I can't imagine it was a perfect divorce, but it was much easier, less stressful, and more amicable than I had hoped for. Thank you for everything, Jonathan.

Before hiring Jonathan I had another attorney who had been handling my divorce for almost 3 years. My attorney and my ex's attorney seemed to be at a stalemate and nothing had really happened for over a year. It was a nightmare! Whenever I asked about my case, my attorney kept blaming the other side,... and my ex has recently told me that his attorney was doing the same. Long story short, I fired my attorney and took a chance on Jonathan. Boy, am I happy with that decision. Not only was Jonathan able to bring everyone to the table and cut through the bs, but only 4 months after hiring him, my divorce is final! I could not be happier with my choice.
