I hired Vince after I was accused by an unstable ex of mine. I had two very serious charges in between my charges and our court date she made up a false rape allegation against someone else and by the time Vince was through with her on the witness stand they gave her a lawyer and she invoked her righ...t to remain silent and all the charges were dismissed. I hired Vincent for an out of county DUI. He was not very effective because he did not know the background of local judges. Apparently, the judge I had never ruled against the police department for any motion to suppress. Also, before my motion to suppress, Vincent told me it had been continued. T...he day of, he told me it was going forward, and there was no way for me to make it on time (I lived four hours away). Then he blamed me for not appearing. I’m sure he did the best he could, as I know he is a great trial lawyer, but I should have hired a local attorney to move to disqualify the judge. I was also disappointed at how slow discovery was given to us, and believe they withheld dash cams from us (they claimed only 1 of the 3 dashcams worked). Also, the breathalyzer malfunctioned and those records were never requested. At the same time, you can’t really blame the attorney for trying hard on your case when you pay a small retainer of $5k and expect a great defense. Solo practitioners are busy. In the middle of my representation, I remember he wanted to get an offer for wet reckless. I ended up hiring another attorney who did that for me in less than one month, after Vincent lost the motion to suppress. Vincent is a great trial lawyer, but in my case, it worked against me.

After being charged with 3 felonies, based on a self-defense situation I was scared and new I needed a good attorney. On a recommendation from a legal secretary I know (in another office) I consulted with and hired Vince. Vince immediately assembled a team of professionals to support a vigorous defen...se including a great private investigator and several expert witnesses. Over the 18 months this case took Vince stayed in contact, represented me on all hearings and eventually a jury trial. I can only imagine if I had NOT had the money for a great defense... and a great attorney intent on seeking the facts and winning my case. Vince and his team prepared, with me, diligently and when trial came, he hit a home-run and the jury didn't even have to deliberate as the case had been argued so effectively. In fact after interviewing a couple jurors, they sat down, chose a jury foreman and voted not guilty on all counts immediately.
