Bankruptcy is never a fun process. The first attorney with whom we met made it substantially worse, letting my wife and I know that we would never qualify for chapter 7 -- even though he couldn't even be bothered to look at the documentation we brought with us to our initial consultation -- and that ...he would not take us on as clients if we didn't accept that simple fact.
