Biography
I'm in solo practice, and my clientele is a mix of individuals, small businesses, and medium-sized businesses.
My individual and businesses practices are relatively distinct. I represent individuals primarily in estate planning, probate, trust disputes, insurance claims, and employment matters. I also represent them in a variety of "financial claims," such as claims against stockbrokers, claims on behalf of shareholders against directors and officers, defamation matters, and breach of contract claims. While I will represent individuals in other areas on occasion I do not accept criminal matters, workers compensation cases, or family law disputes involving child custody issues.
My business practice is equally varied. I can help people start their businesses by advising on the selection of business structure, the drafting of initial documents. I represent businesses in various types of contract and tort litigation during their existence, and provide ongoing advice in a variety of matters, such as employment and leasing. I will also help business in their winding down and termination, and have litigated disputes between partners and/or shareholders. .
