Kathleen was my attorney for Divorce and custody case, She did an amazing Job in negotiating last minute! She literally did a “Hail Mary” minutes before Trial she struck a deal on my high conflict ex that saved me Thousands of Dollars. She always kept her cool and calmed me down when I felt like I wa...s loosing everything. Kathleen is a tough attorney and I pray I never ever need an attorney again but if I do she’s my girl! I consulted with many attorneys before and after her but I knew the moment I met her she was the one. I made the mistake of ignoring my gut and went with a way more expensive attorney that someone recommended because I assumed “You get what you pay for” although that may be true in some situations… Not in my case. With my first attorney the retainer was gone within first couple courts dates , had I kept the other attorney I would have lost thousands of dollars. Kathleen wasn’t just trying to get a pay check she was actually trying to help me she actually cared. Attorneys are busy people they have a lot going on and I sometimes felt discouraged when I didn’t hear back from them seconds from me emailing or calling I remembered they are busy and I just had to be patient and usually the things I emailed them about where just me being anxious and worried so if it was something that really required immediate attention they would respond immediately! But when it was just my anxiety I think they saw that and let me be until I calmed down and I see that now and appreciate it. Plus I did email them A lot I will admit that. I’m very thankful to Kathleen and her staff for all the hard works and stacks and stacks ( atleast 2k pages) of paperwork During discovery they had to look through. Highly recommend Kathleen on your side in Family court.

My wife and her ex had agreed to have her son come back to her when she settled back into Florida. In 2020 when Covid hit he saw that he started to get stimulus checks for the boy and refused to return him in addition to hitting her up for child support. At one point, after multiple hearings on our o...wn, we realized we needed a lawyer. We found Kathleen Phillips. Her and her team immediately took all our information, the facts and got to work. They handled everything. Kathleen had a plan and executed it perfectly! In front of us, because we had to fly to California for the hearing. I'm happy to say that I've asked my wife to write this review for weeks but she's been too busy with her son. So, I took it upon myself to write it because Kathleen Phillips was a Godsend to us. We would Highly Recommend her to anyone in need of a lawyer.

I was going through a nasty divorce and child custody battle with my ex. I tried to do it on my own at first but quickly found out there would be no way. Ms. Phillips helped me go from 5 hour supervised visits once a month to 50/50 custody with week on week off time with my son. She negotiated w...ith the child support attorney to modify the child support calculation. Attributed full time work adjustment to her and cutting the support amount to less than half originally ordered. Not only that but got the court to not allow any spousal support and she owes me money!! Ms. Phillips is very knowledgeable and always prepared. She always updated me on the case and explained all the real options that were available to me and was always professional in court. I highly recommend Ms. Phillips and will do so to everyone who is looking to hire an attorney.

I hired Ms. Phillips to represent me in a wrongful termination case. She does not pull any punches. She is very knowledgeable about the law in employment cases and she does not back down from other lawyers. One of the things that most impressed me was how professional she remained in a deposition w...here the other attorney was out of control. Ms. Phillips worked tirelessly for me and I highly recommend her. I almost hired an older lawyer, but I'm glad I went with my gut because Ms. Phillips was an excellent choice. She does not drag a case out forever and she has continuously updated me on any pending matters. I am currently having her draft my estate plan as well. You can tell when you meet her that Ms. Phillips is a leader. She is an advocate for her client and when we went to court, she was always prepared and had researched any issues at length. This attorney was hired based on a recommendation for a family/divorce matter. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, professionally and information found online. The communication throughout the process was inconsistent, and often found to be unclear about the status of the case o...r next steps. Timely updates and responsiveness are critical in legal matters, and this was an area that needed significant improvement. Additionally, there were concerns regarding professionalism. On at least one occasion, the attorney arrived late to a scheduled meeting and had a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke, which detracted from the overall level of professionalism I expected during such an important and sensitive process. While I appreciate the initial recommendation and the attorney’s efforts, it is advised for others to carefully consider their expectations for communication and professionalism when seeking legal representation.
