Biography
Mr. Negley is a Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) by the State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. We practice exclusively Family Law and related mattters and exclusively in Ventura County since 2007. Our office has a team of lawyers with over 30 years of experience in complex lititation and mediation. We pride ourselves in providing the personal service and accesability of a small firm with the "zealous representation" that you would expect from a much larger firm. We realize that in family law, things can become emergencies and very quickly. That is why someone answers our phones 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Our staff works very hard to keep our clients happy and to be available to them in a timely fashion. Our office is conveniently located just off the 10 freeway and mintures from the Ventura County Superior Court on Victoria Avenue in Ventura. John Negley has a county wide reputation as a zealous advocate for his clients and a fierce litigator while working diligently to settle cases when it is best for his clients. Mr. Negley is a long-term resident of Ventura County where he has raised his five boys with his wife of 28 years and resides in Camarillo. When not working, John enjoys CrossFit, soccer, cycling and keeping up with his five boys. // We offer a free 30 minute consultation on all family law related matters.

Horrible
This attorney did not have the time of day to spend on my case. He refused to listen to what I had to say and told me that I was in the wrong. Replied last June 20, 2013I am sorry that you feel this way. Having not left your name or even initials it is impossible for me to determine which case you are referring to. However, I meet with every client and they are reminded by my staff and I that if there is ever an issue that you have you are always welcome to call and set up a phone or office appointment to discuss the issue and work together for a solution. If I told you that you were in the wrong, well that was likely the case as I don't tell people what they want to hear - I tell them the truth and my honest legal opinion. I try to give the best advice I can based on the information given to me. People pay me to give them sound advice and sometimes people don't like what I tell them. I will always advocate for my client's interests as long as the legal solution they desire is legal, ethical and honest. I will not risk my professional reputation to pursue anything less. Lastly, we work very hard to keep our clients happy and I am certain that I would have done the same in your case.
