I was very happy with everyone at the firm of Holstrom, Sissung, Marks and Anderson, from the receptionists to the accounting department. From the first time I met with Jeffrey Sissung, I was put at ease and explained everything thoroughly. I always knew the step we were on and was always kept up-to-...date on the happenings of my case, no matter how small they were. I always felt prepared and knowledgeable about my case because of their guidance. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my child support case, getting better orders than what I originally sought. I feel very comfortable referring them to people. I had used a different lawyer for a similar case years ago and was scared because of the terrible service I had received from the previous firm, but this firm was so professional , thorough, and knowledgeable that I was confident that the experience was going to be a much more pleasant one, and it was. If anything else were to arise where I would need a lawyer, I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

Attorney Dayn Holstrom is just a shark; in and out of the courtroom. He was exactly what I needed. He was focused and clear about what information he needed from me. He will not waste your time on things insignificant to your case. I have had other attorneys who did not fight for me as he did. ... He knew my case, the law, and my rights. He did not back down to the opposing party or to the Judge. He fought for me and my children with all the passion that I would have, if I had to represent myself. Holstrom, Sissung, Marks and Anderson is a high powered, well oiled machine, and everything you would expect from a successful law firm in Southern California. They do not treat their clients as nameless, faceless, court cases as you may expect from a firm of this caliber. Every e-mail and piece of information that I delivered them was quickly reviewed, routed to the proper people and responded to. I had an incredibly experienced team of attorneys and paralgeal working on my case; as it was quite complex. It always impressed me that all employees of Holstrom, Sissung, Marks and Anderson knew what was the current priority in my case and worked expeditiously as a team to accomplish the current task at hand. I will be forever grateful to Dayn and his awesome law firm. They were well worth the money when I needed help protecting the most important things in my life; my children. I recommend him to anyone going through a family law issue.

I had read Dayn's reviews and based on the reviews I decided to contact him, as my attorney's at the time (reputable big firm in Newport Beach) were doing nothing and I couldn't keep putting up $25k retainers; and had already spent over $130k with that particular firm. Since I was being bled dry and... never got anywhere beyond a temp. stipulation, I started seeking out other attorneys as respondent was not following the temp. stipulation and I needed someone to take action and it wasn't happening. As mentioned, I spoke with Dayn on the phone; and in our extensive phone conversation I decided to meet with him personally at his office and retain him. He seemed to be what I was looking for in an attorney, He seemed knowledgeable and aggressive. Upon my arrival at their Irvine office, I was put into the conference room and Dayn and Carrie Block walked in. I didn't think anything about it at first, as I know there are always attorney's who help out with each case...and my case was complex dealing with properties, custody, as well as breach of fiduciary duty, along with non-compliance of the temporary stip and order, etc. At the end of our meeting Dayn slyly said that Carrie is a very good and knowledgeable family court attorney and she will be taking on your case. and I am in good hands. When he said that...I was not happy, to say the least. Why wouldn't he tell me this in our phone conversation? Again, I contacted Dayn, not Carrie. SMH Ok...fine, I thought I will TRUST him. Big mistake...I should've walked out when that happened. Once again...spent over $32k and not once got into court. Needless to say....I had to find another attorney. Not happy at all and do not recommend.
