Arthur John Lacilento

I am currently involved in a Juvenile Dependency proceeding that has been ongoing since July of 2019. During the first 2 months of the case, I had no choice but to tolerate use of the "court appointed" attorney that was assigned to me. When finally able to retain my own private counsels, I decided to... retain Mr. LaCilento, as he was highly recommended by other attorneys during my then search for a counsel. After my consultation, i was definitely convinced i was making the right decision for legal representation. Arthur is tremendously knowledgeable in Juvenile Law. Despite being hired halfway into my case, he's been able to prevent me from being thrown out of my case with no rights anymore, reinstate my visitation & even filed a motion to have parentage established with the judge ruling in my favor of the motion, granted me Presumed Father status, thus now giving me standing in this proceeding. He ended up saving not on my son & I from eternal separation, but my family entirely as a whole & for that I'm forever indebted. In a court proceeding like this, with all the corruption that goes on (yup i said it), i highly recommended Mr. LaCilento. He will fight for you, especially if he believes in you. He's aggressive and doesn't get intimidated by these corrupt social workers & judges. His passion for justice and keeping families together is not only very admirable, but helped me realize that I wasn't in this battle solo anymore.

Long story short. I hired Art after my court appointed attorney did nothing to protect me in a JV case. CPS had taken my daughter because my ex discovered meth later in life. From the moment I hired Art, everything turned around. I have no criminal or drug history but was “looped in” as CPS explained... it because of my ex wrong doings. I thought my case would be simple and figured I would just walk out with custody since I did nothing wrong. I was wrong!! CPS case worker was on a power tip. Definitely bias towards me. I ended up with monitored visits while mother was still missing drug test and getting more time with my daughter then I was. Had I hired Art from the beginning, none of this would have happened. I now have custody of my daughter. Art will fight for you!! He is by far the best attorney I have hired. Him and his wife Susan are an amazing team. Do what he tells you to do and be upfront with him. He will give you a good plan of action. In conclusion, Hire him! Once you get to know him, you will realize he has a heart of gold.

I hired Mr La Cilento over a year ago. Mr. La Cilento and Sue are dedicated to their clients. They actually care unlike most attorneys that are in the business for the alimighty dollar. Right away I knew I hired the right attorney. Mr. Lacilento fights for justice and he knows the law. He is very str...ategic and knows exactly what needs to be done. He truly looks out for his clients every step of the way. He is unbelievable in trial and uncovers what needs to be exposed. If you want an attorney that will fight for your rights and your child this is the attorney. I learned to sit back and follow Mr. Lacilento and Sue's directions. I highly recommend Mr Lacilento he is an expert in this corrupt system. I will not allow anyone else to touch my case. I have had other attorneys and Mr. La Cilento has had to pick up the pieces. He is even recommended by Shawn Mc Millian which speaks volumes. Mr. La Cilento works hard for me and all his clients he has clearly paved his way to the top. He will not mislead you he is honest and he will fight for you. Mr. La Cilento also has a strong faith which I believe drives his fight for justice in a corrupt system. Art and Sue truly are a blessing. I could not have made it through this system without Mr. La Cilento and his staff. I recommend Mr. La Cilento to everyone who needs an attorney. Simple the BEST you will not be disappointed.

I used him for 5 long months. At the initial consult, he spent time talking to me so that I would pay him retainer fee. After this; however, I sent numerous emails/calls requesting much needed paperwork/investigation to be done. They did not respond or he would talk on the phone for 1 minute before c...utting me off, handing the questions over to less qualified paralegal wife or the secretary. They usually responded frantically at the last minute before due dates for certain forms. These forms were poorly written by the paralegal and I doubt that he even proofread them. I sent many useful documents to support my case, all in vain because they never read them nor organize these in any meaningful way. After 5 agonizing months of struggling to get them to work on my case, I finally switched to another real attorney. He was astonished by the mess of a case I was in. The paperwork was not organized at all and forms filed were useless or even wrong. He said he had never seen such a chaos from any attorney. Many things needed to be corrected, rewritten and resubmitted, costing me more money. I hired him because of good reviews, which I cannot comprehend. In summary, he likes to go to court because he can charge more. He does NOT spend time going over the case carefully nor gives you an overall strategy, but instead shoves your case aside. He does NOT prepare your legal paperwork nor proofread as if he is too important for these vital tasks. The attorney who took over my case fortunately corrected his mess and got me on the right track. I am so glad I switched. If you want a conscientious, professional attorney, choose someone else. Just because an attorney is aggressive does not make one a good representative. The court/judge looks at the facts and documents. If they cannot produce well-written documents because they don't have time nor interest to formulate your battle plan, how can they properly represent you? This was a good learning experience to know that attorneys vary widely in quality and professionalism.

I was referred to Art by my daughter last year. At first I thought, this man doesnt listen to me, he's mean, he's tuff, and not the one that I will get along with. We had our differences but at the end of the day, Mr. Arthur has been on my side from the beginning. He has fought day end, day out to ge...t me the justice I needed. We went to trial and believe me when I say, Art was OUTSTANDING!!! He caught the other party in so much dishonesty, shamfulness, and other things that I believe woudn't have happened without him. He fought to the very end to get me joint custody of my grandkids. He wasn't a push over, and he spoke up each time they tried to down play the love I have for my grandkids. If I had to do it all over again, I would hire Art in a heartbeat!
