Hands down the worst attorney you can hire. I hired him and he refused to meet at the court hearings, giving every excuse why going to the hearings in person were not good however, he would frequently zoom into my hearing from the courthouses while working on other cases and blacking out his screen c...learly working on other cases. Other times he would zoom in from his house with his family and background noises in my hearing. He will over charge you for you all the time. I had to tell him that he's double charging me on multiple occasions. The judge and opposing counsel where practically laughing at him with all his faulty judicial statements in court. He couldn't even remember my name in the hearing. He will talk down to you and make sure you feel like he's not on your side. I'd tell everyone to stay away from this firm. This guy preys on people that need help and then disposes their concerns and and cases like nothing. At no point did I feel like he was on my side. I feel sorry for anyone that uses his services.

Art shower up late to my child support case nearly missing it all together. That should have been my first warning about him and how much he cared about my case. After retreating to the judges quarters with the judge and other lawyer he rushes out saying i got you 47 days visitation in for you in th...e child's birth state of Hawaii where I live (mom left and was not even in California for six months but they forced to have jurisdiction) I pay all travel expenses and 500 a month for one child when I was self employed making 10-14 dollars an hour. The best part of the deal he said is you get to be with you child given 10 notice when you are in California. He took me for all I had, didn't work to help me and persuaded me to agree to pay over 30% of my income. Mom ended up violating all my visitation rights and now I'm left with an outrageous debt in child support enforcement agency cause between the two state agencies the will never address my order to reflect my actual circumstances, that I have other children and didn't make enough to be ordered to pay this much. I swear he took a bribe from the other lawyer and forced their agenda on me cause he sure didn't fight for me and my child to have time to sustain a meaningful relationship and left me indebted to the state for his care-less action regarding my child's welfare. If I could go back in time I'd have fired him when he came huffing out of the judges quarters with his brother on the phone saying " take it! Take it! It's a great deal ask my brother he's a lawyer he will tell you take the deal!" And proceeds to press his cell phone to my ear where his brother is echoing the same thing. Horrible representative, foul person. I'd have done better on my own knowing nothing about law and legal procedures. The mom ended up violating all my court appointed visitation anyway. Aggravating or simply denying them. I'm my experience I could never suggest to anyone to hire this excuse for a human to represent the fact in an important case that will shape your dynamics with your child. Zero ⭐ if I could have rated that. Look elsewhere for representation if you care about your self, your life and your loved ones

Right away I knew I hired the right attorney. Mr. Lacilento fights for justice and he knows the law. He is very str...ategic and knows exactly what needs to be done. He truly looks out for his clients every step of the way. He is unbelievable in trial and uncovers what needs to be exposed. If you want an attorney that will fight for your rights and your child this is the attorney. I learned to sit back and follow Mr. Lacilento and Sue's directions. I highly recommend Mr Lacilento he is an expert in this corrupt system. I will not allow anyone else to touch my case. I have had other attorneys and Mr. La Cilento has had to pick up the pieces. He is even recommended by Shawn Mc Millian which speaks volumes. Mr. La Cilento works hard for me and all his clients he has clearly paved his way to the top. He will not mislead you he is honest and he will fight for you. Mr. La Cilento also has a strong faith which I believe drives his fight for justice in a corrupt system. Art and Sue truly are a blessing. I could not have made it through this system without Mr. La Cilento and his staff. I recommend Mr. La Cilento to everyone who needs an attorney. Simple the BEST you will not be disappointed.

Art LaCilento is a great advocate for his clients. He will fight for what is right and he will also be honest and let the client know what can't be done. He is a good Christian man who lives by Biblical principles to fight for what is best for his client. My ex made outrageous demands in the settle...ment and Art said, "... I will be committing legal malfeasance if I were to let you agree to this." I negated the demands, and 2 weeks later we had a settlement that best benefited the child and me. A client cannot ask for a better advocate nor have a better fighter for what is right.

Art has been described as a fighter many times and having seen him in action, there is no question that that is exactly what he is. After hearing all the ...atrocious lies and twisted truths about me as presented by the opposing counsel, I didn't think my daughter and I had a chance in the world at having the allegations dropped. He proved me wrong. He's AMAZING. LET HIM DRIVE. He knows what he's doing and everyone in these courts knows and respects him. He had me and my family's best interests at heart at every turn and I believe he will do the same for you.
