Excellent Family/Juvenile law Lawyer

Arthur LaCilento represented me in multiple family law and custody matters and provided outstanding legal representation. From our first consultation, it was clear that they were highly knowledgeable and well-prepared. They explained the law clearly, outlined realistic expectations, and developed a... thoughtful strategy tailored to my situation. Communication was excellent throughout the process. I was kept informed, my questions were answered promptly, and I always felt that my case a priority. Arthur LaCilento demonstrated professionalism, strong advocacy, and genuine concern for both my interests and my child's well-being. I am very pleased with the outcome of my cases and would strongly recommend Arthur LaCilento to anyone seeking an experienced and trustworthy family law attorney.

A Voice of Strength When I Had None

At one of the lowest moments of my life, during a heartbreaking custody battle, I felt completely powerless. My children had been exposed to a traumatic situation, and I was overwhelmed with guilt and fear, feeling like I had failed them. A friend referred me to Arthur Lacilento, and from our very... first conversation, I knew I was in good hands. He was direct, grounded, and consistently reminded me to stay calm and focused. What truly stood out was his accessibility, he was always available, whether by phone or text, and never left a single message unanswered. On the day of court, Arthur clearly laid out how he expected things to unfold. He was strategic, confident, and incredibly well-prepared. Thanks to his representation, I was awarded sole custody of my children. The court also ordered the other party to pay attorney fees, and I was granted child support. Arthur didn’t just represent me legally, he gave me hope when I had none. I am forever grateful.

When experience matters

Art and his team were fantastic throughout our custody case. We truly don’t think we could’ve won without him. He brings experience from every angle of foster, adoption, and custody cases—and we were grateful to have him on our side instead of the other way around. Art knows the law inside and out an...d brought a creative, thoughtful approach to our situation. Thanks again, Art!

Horrible representative

Art shower up late to my child support case nearly missing it all together. That should have been my first warning about him and how much he cared about my case. After retreating to the judges quarters with the judge and other lawyer he rushes out saying i got you 47 days visitation in for you in th...e child's birth state of Hawaii where I live (mom left and was not even in California for six months but they forced to have jurisdiction) I pay all travel expenses and 500 a month for one child when I was self employed making 10-14 dollars an hour. The best part of the deal he said is you get to be with you child given 10 notice when you are in California. He took me for all I had, didn't work to help me and persuaded me to agree to pay over 30% of my income. Mom ended up violating all my visitation rights and now I'm left with an outrageous debt in child support enforcement agency cause between the two state agencies the will never address my order to reflect my actual circumstances, that I have other children and didn't make enough to be ordered to pay this much. I swear he took a bribe from the other lawyer and forced their agenda on me cause he sure didn't fight for me and my child to have time to sustain a meaningful relationship and left me indebted to the state for his care-less action regarding my child's welfare. If I could go back in time I'd have fired him when he came huffing out of the judges quarters with his brother on the phone saying " take it! Take it! It's a great deal ask my brother he's a lawyer he will tell you take the deal!" And proceeds to press his cell phone to my ear where his brother is echoing the same thing. Horrible representative, foul person. I'd have done better on my own knowing nothing about law and legal procedures. The mom ended up violating all my court appointed visitation anyway. Aggravating or simply denying them. I'm my experience I could never suggest to anyone to hire this excuse for a human to represent the fact in an important case that will shape your dynamics with your child. Zero ⭐ if I could have rated that. Look elsewhere for representation if you care about your self, your life and your loved ones

Drags a lot and asks for continuance

He just wings every court hearing, mix up cases, yells at clients. The clients are paying him for peace of mind and custody of their children, not to hear him yell and drag the case out.
