Maxine Ho

I retained Maxine Ho as my attorney for a period of time between 2019 and 2020. Due to early mistakes on my part, my divorce case had turned complex and was challenging for just about any attorney to turn around. I was fortunate to have Maxine consider representing me given the circumstance. Maxin...e is a great attorney who is efficient, polite, honest and responds in a timely manner. She has the ability to apply aggression if and when necessary, and she also stands her ground if and when in disagreement with her client, with good intention and in good faith - in saying so, I can highly recommend her. I have not come across decent attorneys even after an extensive search over a period of 4 years; however, I can say that Maxine is one of the few good ones. Unfortunately, I was forced to part ways with Maxine - nothing to do with her service but due to my financial limitations alone. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for her legal advice, time, and efforts representing me. If you are looking for an attorney and haven't made detrimental mistakes thus far, you should consider Maxine. And, even if your case is complex, consider a consultation - she will at the very least guide you correctly to ensure the best possible outcome.

I don't normally like to write about professionals because it's difficult to give an accurate assessment. However, I had a child custody issue and was searching the net for lawyers to talk to. I found Maxine and called her office. She picked up her own calls and was pleasant to speak to. She ta...lked to me for some time and answered all my questions. I informed her that I will keep her information and if my custody issue does not resolve I will call her. Long story short, I was not able to resolve the issue with the other party. I called Maxine back and retained her. She filed the necessary paperwork and also reached out to the opposing party. He didn't agree to my proposal. I didn't want to go to court knowing the possibility and costs associated with it. However, the other side didn't leave me with any choices. So, we went to court and Maxine fought hard. The judge at first didn't seem to favor our position but as the hearing went on, Maxine convinced the judge with her examination skills. The judge granted custody to me and ordered father to have parenting time per my request. I am so thankful for Maxine's hard work. She is very up front and will tell you things you don't want to hear but should hear. I hope that I don't have to return to court anytime soon, but if I do, I will be calling Maxine again.
