Maxine Ho

My divorce case was a horrible one, and I retained Maxine from 2021 til now, 2023 and I am so glad that I found Maxine, she is an amazing attorney, she is tough and to the point when dealing with the other attorney, I went through lots of difficult time with my ex and Maxine always there to give me g...ood advice and she's always trying to protect my right. Maxine is very knowledgeable of what she does as a family law attorney, she's very efficient and honest, we have good communication via email, and she's always responds in a timely manner. My case is finally closed, and I finally received what I wanted from my divorce THANKS to Maxine!!! God forbid, if I ever have to go through divorce again, who do I call? MAXINE HO!!! 

I don't normally like to write about professionals because it's difficult to give an accurate assessment. However, I had a child custody issue and was searching the net for lawyers to talk to. I found Maxine and called her office. She picked up her own calls and was pleasant to speak to. She ta...lked to me for some time and answered all my questions. I informed her that I will keep her information and if my custody issue does not resolve I will call her. Long story short, I was not able to resolve the issue with the other party. I called Maxine back and retained her. She filed the necessary paperwork and also reached out to the opposing party. He didn't agree to my proposal. I didn't want to go to court knowing the possibility and costs associated with it. However, the other side didn't leave me with any choices. So, we went to court and Maxine fought hard. The judge at first didn't seem to favor our position but as the hearing went on, Maxine convinced the judge with her examination skills. The judge granted custody to me and ordered father to have parenting time per my request. I am so thankful for Maxine's hard work. She is very up front and will tell you things you don't want to hear but should hear. I hope that I don't have to return to court anytime soon, but if I do, I will be calling Maxine again.

Maxine was my representative. On day one I explained my child custody case. I was then given the specifics on possible agenda from opposing counsel; as well as possible outcomes. My anxiety was high needless to say. But knowing what to expect helped. Also, I could tell Maxine wanted to represent my i...nterest well - better then what I myself wanted to do; In short, Maxine was in my corner. The case was wrapped up as I hoped. But even before that happened - I was ready and willing to take the gloves off; given I felt I was well represented. I hope legal issues are behind me; but should they come back - I will definitely lookup Maxine again.

Maxine has done excellent work. I tried working the system myself prior to finding and hiring Maxine. Don't do it, you need a competent professional like Maxine. Dealing with DCSS or the courts is not always a fair or efficient system, particularly for fathers. I had additional payments that I had ma...de to the mother, I showed the courts, DCSS and nothing. You need a pro who knows how to work with the system. Maxine came in and was able to show proof of my payments to the courts and DCSS. Next, I was selling my home and DCSS had placed a lien on it. Well, with a homestead, they are not supposed to do that, but they did. Maxine to the rescue, she got the lien released and I was able to sell my home as I legally should have been able to in the first place. Finally, DCSS comes after me again, this time they garnish my bank account. Guess what, I have a court order and they are not supposed to do that. But, I just got in touch with Maxine, she went down to the offices of DCSS personally and had them send me my money back. Maxine is fair, efficient and a smart and aggressive attorney. I highly recommend Maxine.
