This is now 2 for 2 in Catherine getting me a maximum policy settlement! Not only that, but she managed to negotiate my two medical liens against my settlement down to laughably small amounts! My call to Catherine Lukehart was desperate. My previous lawyer had put me in a precarious position. He had done nothing to further my interest in a very complicated case and then quit unexpectedly after he reached the end of his retainer. In a couple hours, she understood the case better than my previous attorney ever did, and knew what needed to be done. And it wasn’t pretty. I’m still amazed she took this case. After a two-year ordeal that involved - literally - a crate load of evidence that included about 2,000 pages of medical records and hundreds of pages of texts and emails, Ms. Lukehart negotiated a reasonable settlement to a case that looked impossible. Understanding what Lukehart does is why she is recommended many times. During conferences, Lukehart keeps it real. Her meetings are productive. Her questioning skills, coupled with a keen sense of case law, lead to legal strategies that work. The opposing litigant was forced to refute many items her attorney had included in his filing because Lukehart’s questioning zeroed in on inconsistencies between what the opposing litigant said and the evidence her office had subpoenaed. During the deposition, Lukehart's questioning cadence never broke. One question followed another question quickly for more than six hours. The opposing litigant didn’t have the luxury of time between questions to nuance answers. My case was handled in the most expeditious, competent, and friendly manner.
