I was denied a security clearance for a federal job I worked so hard to get so I turned to Mr. Nerney for help. It took some time and work but not only did Mr. Nerney get everything that was needed to restore my clearance but I was finally offered the federal job I worked hard for. Mr. Nerney's expertise and professionalism showed from day one and I don't think any of this would have been possible without his help. He stood by my side the entire time and he was always extremely quick to answer my calls and questions and returned my emails. It was almost like I was the only person he was working for even though he has several clients at once at any given time. I highly recommend Mr. Nerney and his law firm to do legal business with. I was never left in the dark. Like I said before, he was with me, working hard to get me the most desired results possible during the entire time. I would definitely work with him again if I ever had to. Thank you Mr. NERNEY!
After my divorce, dealing with false allegations and seeing a counselor because my divorce attorney thought it would help with my judges, a gal at the Army decided to go after my clearance because the opportunity presented. By myself I knocked the government down from 100 issues, to 40 and then to 12, at which point I contacted Tully Rinckey (based on reviews regarding security clearances.) Ryan was assigned to me after the initial reviews and we got the 12 issues down to 4 and then, after waiting 2 years, the judge listened to what we had to say and ruled for me on all 4 counts. One big key to winning was following the advice of attorneys to see another shrink to counter the ignorant evaluation of the government shrink. I don't like shrinks. Don't believe in them and thought seeing another was silly, but it was that 2nd shrink that turned it. (By the way, it turns out you do NOT have to see a government shrink, which I would have known if I had hired these attorneys the moment the government started going after my clearance. Also, it is worth noting that it was July of 2017 that the whole thing started and it didn't truly end until June of 2022! I hired these guys right at the start of 2020.)

Helped Me Get My Clearance
I was facing some serious concerns with regards to obtaining a security clearance and being able to keep my job. I consulted Ryan, and his calm, straightforward explanation about my issues and how they would be best tackled made me want to hire him on the spot! Thanks to his counsel, I was able to navigate my form and background interview easily, and I obtained my clearance without even getting a statement of reasons! I know that Ryan is the only way that this was able to happen, and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done to get me my clearance and peace of mind!

Security Clearance
Mr. Nerney recently worked on 2 EEO cases and a Security Clearance issue I had with the USAF. He is not only the most professional attorney I have ever worked with - but he was able to keep me focused on the bottom line when I wanted to fall apart with the devastation one manager had done to a 35 year career. I am recommending him to all my colleagues that are experiencing similar issues. Mr.Nerney salvaged my career, which will now allow me to retire with my full benefits. I could not have survived this ordeal without his counsel

Aggressively fought and worked tirelessly
Ryan represented me on my wrongful termination case with the federal government for almost three years. He was always very upfront in what to expect and went to great lengths to provide a comprehensive and aggressive strategy.
The complexity of my case turned it from wrongful termination into a disability law case. Ryan deftly negotiated a settlement with my former Agency and handled the disability pension that was owed to me.
He really came through and fought for me when I needed it most.

Security Clearance Granted!
Ryan Nerney represented me in a formal Security Clearance Hearing - the culmination of a seemingly endless two year struggle I had been enduring on my own. I chose Edmunds Law Firm (at the last minute) because of their glowing reviews, and because they seemed experienced with these sort of matters. I was not disappointed.
They knew just what to do, and jumped right in, planning our strategy, the documents we would present, witnesses to appear, communicating with the prosecutor on my behalf ... everything. That's not to say they didn't keep me plenty busy; they did. However, we had less than a month before the Court date (which they managed to push a back a few days), and much to prepare. In retrospect, though I felt my "counter-reasons" were justified, I wouldn't have stood a chance in there on my own (and would never have put together the organized wealth of exhibits with which we showed up). Throughout the process, Ryan and the whole staff at Edmunds were professional, helpful, competent and responsive.
The Hearing itself went smoothly and well. We had the cards (thanks to our preparation), and Ryan played them. He kept my character witnesses on-track, while also letting them speak out and score emotional points. Mr. Nerney was aware of some new guidelines that were particularly relevant to my case, and made sure to point these out to the administering Judge.
In short, at the end of the day (and the Hearing), I don't think there was any real doubt in anyone's mind (not even the prosecutor's) that I would be granted my Security Clearance.
As far as I'm concerned, if you want to win, these are the guys you want in your corner.

Back in the Game
I had recently undergone an interview and polygraph for an NSA clearance. I was very honest in my interview. In fact I got to a point where the honesty was actually not the truth and I somewhat misrepresented myself as this can be a very nerve racking experience. Within days I had learned that I was no longer allowed to access an NSA site on a visitor status while waiting for my official clearance to play out. This was embarrassing and devastating. I felt like a dirt bag. Not long after this unexpected bit of bad news, I received the letter of response from NSA indicating that my application for a security clearance had been rejected, with a letter of explanation. This was very disheartening. I had some very dark days following this. I am not a bad person and had been completely honest in my interview. After some deliberation on what I should do and after scouring the internet on the topic, I contacted the Alan E Edmunds law firm. I spoke directly with Alan on more than one occasion. Alan convinced me that it was in my best interest to move forward with an appeal. I retained the Edmunds law firm and was assigned Mr. Ryan Nerney as my attorney. I communicated directly with Ryan who was kind and helpful. I was sent a list of items that I needed to collect and obtain for my case. These items were carefully detailed out and Ryan answered any questions I had that related to my curiosity and inexperience in this field. A government clearance can be a scary venture as the average person has not a clue how this system works. Mr. Nerney and the people at this firm understand the process and I found that I could rely on them heavily to help me to know what to do, how to do it and when to do it. Ultimately it is about following their simple instruction, gathering the right info and allowing them to assemble and submit a response in such a way that it gives you the best chance of winning an appeal. I thought my case was hopeless but as I did as I was directed and began to gather the information, I found that they were helping me to form a picture of who I am, not just what one intimidating interviewer derived in an intense interview. In the end, I received happy news from Ryan who indicated that my appeal had been approved and the denial of further movement on my clearance overthrown. I am now back on track with my clearance officially. I can’t thank the Alan E Edmunds Law Firm and especially Mr. Ryan Nerney for their support and help. They truly were and advocate and I would go to them again. What a God Send they were to me. Literal Angels in my defense. If you are curios if they can help, Call Ryan or Alan and ask their advice. I am certain they will be honest and direct you for your betterment. Their retainment fee was well worth getting back on track for a clearance that will be invaluable in my profession. Thank you again Ryan Nerney and Edmunds Law Firm!

Thanks to Ryan C. Nerney
Attorney Ryan C. Nerney took on a very challenging case involving my clearance and a medical situation. He and his staff did an outstanding job preparing my case to maintain a Government Agency security clearance. His experience and knowledge guided me through the process and what needed to be done, and he was always available whenever I needed his counsel and advise. Ultimately, the ruling was in my favor and I was able to keep my full security clearance. Thank you so much Ryan!!!

Security Clearance
Attorney Ryan C. Nerney agree to take my case with only three weeks to prepare. He and his staff did an outstanding job prepare my case to maintain a Department of Defense security clearance. He provided advice and direction that supported a successful ruling in my favor. Without is legal knowledge and experience in litigating security clearance issue I would not have received a favor ruling. Yes, the case receive a favorable ruling which without Attorney Nerney I would not have received such a ruling.

Secret Clearance Granted!
Good day Mr. Leo Santiago,
I wish to congratulate you sir, on 23 December 2015 the DoDCAF favorably adjudicated my investigation and my response to the LOI/SOR with a Secret clearance! I realized after 30 days into the adjudication process that I was completely in over my head in trying to address this situation myself. I thank you for being an attorney who is reachable, personable, and respectful as we collaborated in this process. I also appreciate the fact that you provided me with information on debt management and tools to help me dispute creditors/collections agencies. In closing, I would recommend you to everyone and I pray that you will prosper in all that you do.
Regards,
REW
