Don't use Jason Smith

Buyer beware. Jason Smith gladly took my money up front but then all but disappeared. I received virtually no assistance from them in getting my mortgage re-modification. Thanks to them, I am literally in a much worse position than if I had never used them at all.

Not recommended

I was referred to Jason who initiated the process. I sent a $3650 money order for his help in getting a loan modification on my upsidedown loan and didn't hear back for 1.5 months. I had to email daily/weekly for updates to get their attention and paid an additional $400 appraisal fee to one of his... vendors to "guarantee" the loan modification. I even got convinced to pay another $1k to try a second time with no results after the first attempt produced a denial. I was told they would try a 3rd time for free and never heard back. PLEASE just work with your local loan officer to get help for free. I just completed HARP 2.0 with our local loan officer at Wells and have a much lower payment than before. You can find help from other homeowners here: http://www.loansafe.org/home-loans I keep regretting how much money I spent on these services. =(

Excellent work and service

I hired Mr. Smith to represent me in an action with my mortgage lender, and he did a wonderful job. I don't believe I would still own my home today without his firm. Highly recommended!

Don't use this him

Do not waste your money. They promise you the world and say for sure they at least get you a lower % rate. They are slow to respond and then come back and say, "Sorry, you didn't qualify for program". That's it, now they don't return calls and move on to their next victims.

Home is saved

This team helped basically save my home. I was originally put in a loan that would eventually raise my rate to 9.95% which I was never aware of. There were so many attempts on my part to get my mortgage company to do something to no avail. Jason Smith and team got me out of a potential loss of my h...ome and into a payment that is fixed and that we can afford.
