I am an experienced California attorney with a practice emphasis in probate, estates, trusts and litigation related thereto. I am also experienced in business formation, business transactions and business litigation.
My blog is found at www.californiaestatelawyerblog.com and my website is at www.newportbeachbusinesslawyer.com.
While I am licensed as a CPA I have always practiced law. However, because of my licensure, I am knowledgeable about tax law, tax controversies, and business financials.
As a partner in Lytton Williams Messina & Hankin, LLP, I can call on my other partners' expertise in areas such as business law, family law, real estate law, immigration law and commercial litigation.

I met Ted on a messy and difficult breach of trust case where I represented the petitioning beneficiary when he substituted in as counsel for the responding former trustee. Up to that point the case had been bogged down for over a year with discovery and accounting disputes. Ted did a highly professional job with and for his client, and the matter was resolved by a court approved settlement in fairly short order. I was impressed with Ted's ability to break through the mutual distrust and dislike between the parties so a fair result could be reached.
