I got my 2nd DUI while I was still on probation. I was pretty freaked out and knew I had to hire an attorney immediately. When I called the law firm, I ended up talking with Jonathan, he was exactly what I needed as I was a real "Nervous Nelly."I had no idea what was going on or what I was facing, no...r any clue what to do. I was looking at possibly 60-90 days in LA County jail (not a fun place) and whatever else the DA decided. Jonathan was able to get me only 15 days and add 4 for fines. So my fine went from $2,800 to $300. He also recommended surrendering on the busy New Years weekend so I would serve less jail time due to overcrowding. Well he was right! I went in at 8:30am and was out the next day in time for NYE, out by 7pm! Jonathan is a great lawyer and super friendly and supportive, not like a lot of other attorneys out there. I keep hearing horror stories from my classmates in dui school. I would definitely recommend this guy for anyone in trouble!

Singing up for an AB 38 program voluntarily and immediately 2. Attending AA meetings on a consistent regular basis 3. Going onto a SCRAM alcohol monitoring device on a voluntary basis. 4. Medical support in addressing sobriety and alcohol dependency issues. Time is of the essence when getting arrested for a DUI, making fast improvements in one’s life is important. You need to show sobriety immediately. The system will sometimes give a person a break if they are sincere in addressing a major problem that has severe consequences. You can lose your DMV license within two weeks. You can lose your family. You can lose your professional. You can lose your assets. It’s important to get enrolled in programs and to obtain competent legal counsel immediately. I ended up with a sentence that included a fine of $2514 and 130 days, a probation violation that was lifted and a concurrent sentence in another court. I was offered the opportunity of house arrest, time was cut in half to 59 days in order to complete my sentence. Considering what I could have received ( consecutive sentence, jail time in two courts, a year in a county jaiI facility) I feel that this was probably the best outcome possible. Every situation is different. No one can ever feel happy about running afoul of the law but the 59 days house arrest, and the fine was reasonable. I faced a 3rd dui in ten years, my 2nd dui as an adult in addition to an accident and hit and run. My first adult dui was reckless. Nonetheless, I was scared shitless for the hefty mistake I made. I was scheduled for another court date 6 weeks out. Although I was bummed out because I was left on the costly out patient rehab for another 6 weeks. Mr. Reza quickly exclaimed that court didn't go all bad as I was released on my own recognition without bail. (Great News!) So moving forward, Mr. Reza requested that I be present at court with him come May 11th, 2016. His reasoning was because he believed we could close the case as long as I continued on my straight an narrow path. I did as he recommended and all went great! I am very thankful for both Jon Reza and Julia Simmons. They both had the expertise I needed for my case. I am glad I picked up the phone and made the right proactive choice I needed.
