Jonathan Kouroush Reza

Jonathan Reza saved my life! I have 3 DUIs within 10 years and after I was arrested for my third, I bailed out and knew I needed a reliable attorney. After calling a few, I was getting anxious thinking no one could help me get out of the mess I had got myself into. I got my 2nd DUI while I was still on probation. I was pretty freaked out and knew I had to hire an attorney immediately. When I called the law firm, I ended up talking with Jonathan, he was exactly what I needed as I was a real "Nervous Nelly."I had no idea what was going on or what I was facing, no...r any clue what to do. He calmed me down, totally listened to me and ask me questions, gave me guidance and reassurance, also made me go from crying to laughing by the end of our first conversation. I felt very confident and safe, once I knew I had him to help me through this scary situation. For my first arraignment, the court had told Jonathan that my case wasn't even ready the date originally posted, so we didn't need to be there. So I took off on a trip for the weekend. Jonathan, being the awesome lawyer that he is, had a feeling and showed up to court anyways. Very lucky he did, since my name came up after all. I would have ended up with a warrant if he had not. He recommended that I go to 2 AA's a week, enroll in the DUI program and get that stupid SCRAM bracelet on. I hated it but it worked! It actually helped me to quit drinking, and now I am a member of AA with 6 months sober. I just never want to lose so much money over alcohol and bad decisions again! I was looking at possibly 60-90 days in LA County jail (not a fun place) and whatever else the DA decided. Jonathan was able to get me only 15 days and add 4 for fines. So my fine went from $2,800 to $300. He also recommended surrendering on the busy New Years weekend so I would serve less jail time due to overcrowding. Well he was right! I went in at 8:30am and was out the next day in time for NYE, out by 7pm! Jonathan is a great lawyer and super friendly and supportive, not like a lot of other attorneys out there. I keep hearing horror stories from my classmates in dui school. I would definitely recommend this guy for anyone in trouble!

I was facing my 2nd dui with mandatory jail time in San Diego. I only had to meet with my attorney 3 times to give him paperwork or my case, payment and for my last court. He showed up to all my court date with out me being present. Got me house arrest instead on county and he was able to transfer my... house arrest from San Diego to LA. Overall great attorney, I recommend him . Very satisfied.

I faced a 3rd dui in ten years, my 2nd dui as an adult in addition to an accident and hit and run. My first adult dui was reckless. Nonetheless, I was scared shitless for the hefty mistake I made. So I took immediate action by contacting and hiring Julia Simmons for guidance and expertise on my case.... This is how I came into contact with Jonathan Reza. Both attorneys were phenomenal. At the start Julia gave me a plan on how to proceed giving me the appropriate steps to take before going to court. I attended AA meetings and Enrolled in the MOST program. (Not Cheap) MOST is an outpatient rehab going sober- cold turkey. It was one of the best recommendations I have ever followed through on. The out patient rehab was for cognitive behavior under what is called SMART RECOVERY. (I strongly believe in it and support it) Anyways, I was on the program for about 4 months before Jonathan Reza went to my arraignment for me. He went to my arraignment and unfortunately I was still left on the program while continuing self help meetings. Immediately after the arraignment Mr. Reza contacted me with a plan. I was scheduled for another court date 6 weeks out. Although I was bummed out because I was left on the costly out patient rehab for another 6 weeks. Mr. Reza quickly exclaimed that court didn't go all bad as I was released on my own recognition without bail. (Great News!) So moving forward, Mr. Reza requested that I be present at court with him come May 11th, 2016. His reasoning was because he believed we could close the case as long as I continued on my straight an narrow path. I did as he recommended and all went great! I am very thankful for both Jon Reza and Julia Simmons. They both had the expertise I needed for my case. I am glad I picked up the phone and made the right proactive choice I needed. Two thumbs up to Mr. Reza and Ms. Simmons. Thank you so much! You both showed and proved to me by taking your own volition to fixing yourself and moving forward from a mistake made really works out for your best interest.
