It was hard to find an affordable, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable attorney to represent my immigration case. I spoke to many attorneys and was not satisfied. However, after talking to attorney Anthony Marcus, I immediately observed his friendly personality and the way he understands my situation.... I hired him to petition for my spouse’s green card. He came to our house to explain the process and exhibited a confident knowledge of the Immigration law. The case was filed in December of 2018. At the end of May 2019, we got a request for clarification for my spouse’s birth certificate. Mr. Marcus explained why they needed that and asked for new original documents. After we gathered the materials, Mr. Marcus prepared a letter and sent it to the Immigration office. Within three months, my spouse’s work authorization was approved, and we received a letter scheduling the green card interview. Prior to the interview, Mr. Marcus met with us three times and rehearsed with us a mock interview twice. On the day of the interview, he came with us and explained the steps and communicated with the office during the interview. After a brief 20-minute interview, the officer asked us to wait outside in order to clear a small lapse of time in my spouse’s visa (he was as a student three months prior, when his F1 visa ended). Mr. Marcus explained why the officer needed approval from his supervisor. While we were waiting Mr. Marcus confidently told my spouse “congratulation on your green card!” That was even before the officer invited us back in and gave us the Green Card approval letter. People v. Moncada After a night of drinking with my familia, I realized that I have to go to work, I called Uber, but they did not come. I was afraid to miss work, and I decided to drive myself to go to work. It was the wrong decision I enter the freeway and crossed all the lanes and hit a new 201...7 Honda. Mr. Marcus did not stop to defend me; he also went with me to my restitution hearing and dismissed the demand of the damages with zero dollars out of my pocket. I am speechless and out of words to thank him for his professionalism and zeal for his clients. He is not only an outstanding lawyer; he also treats people with respect and recognizes their dignity. The most important thing for me, that his legal fees were very affordable.
