Dismissed My Case After 15 Minutes - DA Negotiation!!! I had an altercation with a gas station clerk due to some family involvement. That clerk pulled a knife on me, I defendant my life by pushing him and punching him in the face. I called the police, but by the time the police arrived the clerk ...hide the knife and the only thing the police observed was the clerk's mark of my punch on the clerk’s face. The police were convened that I was the aggressor. Unfortunately, when the clerk produced the gas station’s video, he deleted the part where he pulled the knife on me. The only evidence reviewed by the DA was the red eye of the clerk and I was charged with battery. I hired two lawyers. None of them was able to advocate for me to show the DA the truth. It was hard to find an affordable, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable attorney to represent my immigration case. I spoke to many attorneys and was not satisfied. However, after talking to attorney Anthony Marcus, I immediately observed his friendly personality and the way he understands my situation.... I hired him to petition for my spouse’s green card. He came to our house to explain the process and exhibited a confident knowledge of the Immigration law. The case was filed in December of 2018. At the end of May 2019, we got a request for clarification for my spouse’s birth certificate. Mr. Marcus explained why they needed that and asked for new original documents. After we gathered the materials, Mr. Marcus prepared a letter and sent it to the Immigration office. Within three months, my spouse’s work authorization was approved, and we received a letter scheduling the green card interview.
