Timothy James Ryan

Timothy J Ryan and Associates is a complete disaster. He and his gaggle of assitants repeatedly ignored my emails, sent me paperwork with another client’s name on it, and even addressed me as a "Miss" in one of their most recent emails (I am a male). They canceled an appointment I took time off work ...for - just 15 minutes before it was supposed to start. I would email them to make sure they're aware of certain details or developments of the case, or would request information, and would be completely ignored or receive a response addressing only part of my original message. Tim Ryan himself is forgetful, unresponsive, and unprofessional - going so far as to send a snarky email when he learned I hired a different attorney for another case. "Say hello to my good friend Gary." Tim also referred to me by different clients' names on multiple occasions. They settled one of my cases for the bare minimum offered by my own uninsured motorist policy when the other party's insurance denied the claim. They didn't bother challenging the decision or filing a lawsuit against them despite the insured being clearly liable in causing the accident and fleeing the scene. They left money on the table and opted for an easy settlement instead. This firm is lazy, sloppy, and downright disrespectful. Don’t waste your time.

This guy represented me back in 04. I was working @ a hotel in Anaheim when a big fight broke out. Lets see a staff of 4 against a crowd of 50 drunk mexicans. This guy wouldnt push my case for nothing. He just wanted me to settle with workmans comp. Amazing !!! Just typical. No back bone ... He... just wanted me to settle. I would never recommend this guy. I served my country in war. This person I would give to the enemy ...

i WAS REAR ENDED by a truck going 65 mph in 2009 and initially handled my case myself since the other party was totally at fault,,,i paid close to $9,000 out of pocket expenses and when I turned my bills over to mercury for settlement,,they only offered $8500 total,,no pain and suffering,,i then hir...ed Ryan to puruse the case for a year more running up $6000 more in medical from dr.s he sent me to,, In the mandatory settlement hearing on January 3, 2012, Mercury offered $11,000 wheras I asked Ryan if that was over and above my medical bills including my $9000 out of pocket,,he said yes. January 13, 2012 in his office, he showed me the settlement and it showed $4400 to him and over $6000 to the drs. he sent me to and $147 dollars for me,,when I asked what about my out of pocket expenses,,he said "I have had a rough week and about to explode",,he didnt answer then and now and I have refused to sign any check... He refuses to communicate,does not care about small cases and even kept calling me Mitch, which isnt my name. I now am going to small claims court and mabye there , I will find out why he deceived me and refuses to answer why my out of pocket expenses were not even sent to mercury for reimbursement. I am also reporting this case to the california state bar. I will keep you posted on the outcome
