I was in the middle of a very contentious divorce that had been going on for over a year and was not happy with the counsel that I had at the time. My ex had always said that he would bury me in legal fees if we ever split up and he was out to hurt and destroy me. My ex had a top-notch attorney t...hat completely overshadowed my counsel at the time.. We had an arbitration meeting where my previous counsel was berated by my ex and opposing counsel and I knew I had to make a change.
