I HIRED HER 10 YEARS AGO AND I THOUGHT THAT I WAS GOING TO GET A COMPETENT DIVORCE ATTORNEY. SHE DID NOT RESPOND TO CALLS AND KEPT HER CLIENTS INFORMED BY LETTERS. ALSO, SHE DID NOT COMPLETE THE AS REQUIRED. SHE IS A REFERRAL FROM THE OC BAR ASSN AND I FELT THAT SHE SHOULD FIND ANOTHER LINE OF WO...RK BECAUSE OF MY ABOVE REASONS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH HER. FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHO IS COMPETENT AND HONEST.

Lisa Hooper represented me in a long and drawn out divorce. Throughout it all, I found her to be responsive, engaging, ethical and fair. She knew what she was doing and she made decisions and recommendations that were best for me and my kids, and not what was best for her billings (which appeared to ...be the case with my ex's attorney). I always felt like she was truly interested in my case and that gave me confidence throughout the proceedings. I would absolutely recommend her. I was very pleased with what she did for me and I feel lucky that I chose her.

You'd be better off handling your divorce yourself than hiring this one. She's good at filling out form docs and sending out bills, but is very reluctant to give any advice or counsel, or even just communicate with you, and runs scared of opposing counsel.
