Tim and his team are outstanding, professional, and caring. My case was not an easy case because there were so many facets involved that kept complicating my position and the Trustee kept continuing my case wanting more and more information. Tim and his team never gave in or gave up. End result my... case was finalized successfully and I truly believe had it not been for Tim and his team I probably would not have won this case. I hired McFarlin LLP to represent my mother in law as a plantiff in a lawsuit against a business. It was a very unique situation and McFarlin handled the case professionally. I am writing this review, because it was Tim's reviews that brought me to call his office and make an appointment. When I went to see Tim I was beyond terrified. I was 3 years behind in my mortgage and just received notice that my house would be sold in a couple of weeks. I called Tim McFarlins' off...ice and got in right away, Tim's staff is amazing, they were so welcoming and genuinely concerned. When I met Tim for the first time he was so kind and full of compassion. Tim sat with me at length and explained all my options, the good, the bad, and the ugly. As compassionate as Tim is, he was very honest and told me that due to my payments being 3 years behind, this would be a tough case, and it was but Tim and his staff didn't give up. I was at a cross roads in my case and that's when Tim introduced me to Mary. I remember reading about this amazing Mary when I first started looking at Tim's reviews, but this Mary is TRULY AMAZING!!!!! Mary is Tim's assistant, and what an asset she is to this law firm. Mary is so smart, she knows exactly what the banks want and she helps you through the whole process (You must get your papers in when Mary asks you!!!). It was very nerve racking because the bank wouldn't budge to give me a loan modification but somehow, someway Mary was able to get my loan modification approved. When I first talked to Tim he said the process would be about 6-months to a year and it was a year on the dot!!! I will ALWAYS be grateful to Tim McFarlin, Mary and Staff for saving my house!!!!! My review is almost over but I wanted to take this time to inform all of you reading this, that their are A LOT of non trustworthy people/attorneys who promise you anything you want to hear as long as you pay their fee each month, I know this because I was with an attorney for 3 years who did nothing but take my money each month. Why would I stay with this attorney? Because I was terrified of losing everything I worked so hard for, I was terrified of losing the house I raised my children in. It took me 3 years to finally say enough and take a chance, It was like being in an abusive relationship, you do not want to stay but you have nowhere to go. I cannot begin to express my deep appreciation and satisfaction for the assistance I received from McFarlin. I reached out to them last year for help with my first mortgage. BofA had increased my interest rate by double, which in turn increased my mortgage to an unaffordable amount. BofA later agree...d to modify my loan and transferred my loan to a different servicer (BSI Finacial). Once BSI assumed my loan, they told me they would not accept BofA's modification. They immediately stopped accepting my payments and tried to begin the foreclosure process on my home. I sought the help of McFarlin and they immediately stopped the bank from the foreclosure process. They worked with BSI and ultimately got my loan modified. They were also able to help me settle my second loan and saved me several thousands of dollars. Mary and Jared were extremely helpful throughout the process. They kept me posted weekly and did everything they could to keep me reassured. I would recommend anyone fighting to keep their home to seek the assistance of McFarlin, I could not have been happier with their services.
