I was having an issue with the ch 7 trustee which kept insisting my home was worth more than what our appraisal was but my prior atty would not stay on him and demand some sort of proof to where he kept continuing our 341a meetings, Eventually first atty told us the only way to save home was to pay t...he trustee money which made no sense because he never supplied an appraisal. We cashed out a 401k and then wanted him to make an agreement on terms and he would not. Desperate full of fear and frustration I needed to find someone that would or could talk this man down and have him agree he wont ask for more money. Ivan said that he sounded like he wanted this house and that our best bet was a ch. 13 then we would be out of the chapter 7 and into a 5 year repayment plan instead of losing our home. He wanted 4,000 and I was shocked but he reassured me that it was to pay for his assistance on my ch 13 for the 5 year duration. I agreed signed and waited. On Feb 18 the judge granted the chapter 7 bankrupcty dissolving all my debt without ordering our home to be taken away. On Feb 19th or 20 Ivan went into the computer system and reopened the chapter 7 dissolvement and turned it into ch 13 with 5 year proposes payments. On March 5 I received the letter from courts stating that I received ch 7 bk and now all my debts are wiped. I went to see Ivan and he said he hadnt seen it and that the courts make these types of mistakes all the time. I would most likely get something else stating they made error and to come to court on a set date. This is not true. Needless to say he refused giving me any of my 4,000.00 that he stole from us to draw up a repayment plan, and fill out 3 other sections of the already existing bankruptcy order. another note he didnt even have to make a repayment plan yet all he needed to do was file the change in venue. Yes the money was to cover 5 years of his representation while we went through this. I can not believe how ruthless people are. Watch these two like a hawk, horrible

Thank goodness for Ivan and Nancy! I imagine it is difficult for someone in Ivan's line of work, always interacting with clients during such a difficult, depressing and embarrassing time in life. At least that is how I have felt for the past year, but Ivan has helped me through all of it, and I am no...w on the other side, putting life back together. Ivan makes you feel welcome and understood,not intimidated like some lawyers. I had a complicated case and Ivan just dealt with it 1 issue at a time and my giant mess was put together simply for our trustee to easily manage. My house is worth half of what it used to be and I had a high interest rate second mortgage that I don't have to pay now, thanks to Ivan.
