The Trahans are my heros!!!

After losing my job due to covid-19 I had no money coming in and went through my savings quickly. I found my self in serious financial trouble and was freaking out when I called Ivan's office. I spoke with his wife first and told her I was in my 8th week waiting on unemployment to pay me. She imme...diately sprung into action and that very day my EDD claim went from pending to paid!!! She certainly went above and beyond right off the bat. When I consulted with Ivan he was very calm and took time to explain what we were going to do. I appreciate their gently way of handling someone like me that tends to freak out. I cannot thank them both enough!

Explained and Made Bankruptcy Easy

Ivan Trahan and his wife Nancy were very understanding and made a tense time in my life a little easier by taking immediate control of my collectors, who were hounding me. Everything went fine and I am thankful his experience made my bankruptcy easier. His fees were reasonable and his attention to m...e was remarkable.

Five years later they’re still helping me

Ivan asked me to post a review for him. I don’t usually do that but I felt it was justified. My experience with this firm was excellent. They were competent, knowledgeable, experienced, calm, honest, patient. I was diagnosed with MS during the process and they were kind and helpful. Nancy ev...en gave me information on how to get a guide dog. So I call them five years after we got our discharge with a problem and they helped me. They have all along. I’ve referred a lot of people to this firm forever there and will continue to do so.

Ivan Trahan helped me a lot

I am a single mother. My husband died about ten years ago and I never got married again. With two kids and my mom to take care of, I have always had problems keeping up with bills. When I went to see Mr. Trahan, he told me I could sue the credit card companies that were calling me on my cell and t...hat's what we did. I still have to file bankruptcy because I didn't get that many calls so I didn't get enough money to pay off all of my credit cards, but I got enough to buy a nice used car and to fix all of the broken things in my house that I haven't had the money to fix and I even put some of the money into an IRA. I had seen other lawyers before Mr. Trahan and none of them ever told me about this phone call lawsuit, so I am very grateful to Mr. Trahan and his wife, Nancy, too because they both have helped me a lot and they never made me feel bad about the money problems I had. Mr. Trahan was recommended by a co-worker who was also happy with his services.

Ivan and Nancy Trahan

I met with Ivan Trahan a year ago, and informed him I was thinking of filing bankruptcy. He took the time to look over my situation and gave me advice on NOT to file bankruptcy at that time, and to wait about a year due to some of the debts that I had. He didn't charge me one dime for this visit. ...I took his advice and one year later I met with him and his lovely wife, Nancy, again and proceeded with my bankruptcy. I was quite embarrassed due to my financial situation, however, both Ivan and Nancy never judged or made me feel ashamed. They guided me thru the task of getting all of my paperwork together. Whenever, I had a question, Nancy always answered my phone calls, emails, texts, etc. immediately. Today I had my 341 meeting and again, Nancy and Ivan were right by my side. I have the highest regard for both of them and anyone going thru the trails and tribulations of considering or filing bankruptcy, should definitely call Ivan Trahan. You can't find a better lawyer! He will always have your back, and the same goes for his wife, Nancy. Thank you both so much. You gave me a brand new lease on life!!!!!!!
