Wow! Doug Sohn, Erica Alvarado, and the San Diego Lemon Law staff were incredible! For over 2 years, I dealt with multiple problems with my Ford Bronco Sport. I thought I had to live with a car that didn’t operate properly. Thank goodness, a friend referred me to Doug Sohn. My Bronco was definitely a... lemon. Rear and front brake issues and transmission issues that never could be fixed. Numerous recalls. It was exhausting. Doug and his staff were so nice! I purchased a brand new 2023 Hyundai Sonata, and soon after, it started having serious issues—it would randomly shut off and crank strangely. I brought it into the dealership 13 times, but none of the technicians could duplicate or fix the problem. Frustrated and out of options, I was referred to Lemon Law of San Diego by a neighbor. After a consultation with Attorney Doug, I agreed to have him take on my case. He had me fill out a few forms detailing the issue, and from there, everything was incredibly easy. Most of my communication was with Erica, and she, along with the rest of the staff, was amazing—super helpful, professional, and friendly. I was having persistent problems with my leased 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4Xe, including needing to replace the electric coolant heater twice which made the hybrid electric mode unavailable. Other issues were multiple recalls, including the do not charge and park outside fire recall. I initially reach...ed out to what I thought was a lemon law attorney at a different "law firm", and it turned out to be a highly thought out scam seeking out Grand Cherokee owners. I later chose San Diego Lemon Law as they were recommended by a friend. I met with attorney Doug via video call for my free consultation. He informed me I have a strong case and that he only accepts cases he believes he will win. Doug and his team guided me from start to finish in my case, which took a little over 5 months, all done by calls and emails. I have had this lease for a little over two years, and to my surprise, I was entitled to a full refund of all payments made. The attorney fee was paid separately by FCA, Doug did not require any type of retainer fee out of my pocket whatsoever at all. This was a huge relief as this was a very expensive lease payment for a vehicle that had consistent problems which seemingly could not be accurately repaired by Jeep. Had I gave up and traded this leased Jeep in, I would have lost thousands in negative equity. Instead, I walked away clean with a full vehicle buyback and a refund check in hand. I am fully satisfied with the outcome and I highly recommend Doug and his team to anyone.
