Biography
Jason S. Sheinberg has been practicing law since 2004. His practice is centered on estate planning, trust administrations, probate administrations, Medi-Cal planning, conservatorships and guardianships. Jason works with families to make sure their estates are properly planned, and also with beneficiaries and fiduciaries to see to it that the estates are properly administered.
Prior to creating Sheinberg Law Group, Jason was the lead estate planning attorney at San Diego Law Firm. Prior to joining San Diego Law Firm, Jason led the estate planning division of a firm in North County San Diego. He previously clerked for notable Los Angeles attorney Marvin Mitchelson. During law school, Jason was a member of the fraternal organization Phi Alpha Delta. Jason is a court-appointed attorney (Guardianship and Conservatorship) in the San Diego Superior Court, and he considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the courts in this manner.
Being a court-appointed attorney was his first personal achievement as an attorney, and it has been one of the most vital roles Jason has carried throughout his profession. Jason was honored to be named a San Diego Top Young Attorney for 2011 by the San Diego Daily Transcript.
Jason is also a member of the State Bar of California, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of California, and the University of San Diego Planned Giving Committee. He received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2003 and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of San Diego in 2000. He is admitted to practice in California, U.S. District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jason was born and raised in Los Gatos, California and attended Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California. In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling and spending time with his beloved wife, Sara, their incredilbly cute twin boys, Blake and Evan, and all of his family and friends. Jason is an avid sports fan, and supports all San Diego sports teams, the Tennessee Titans, and most importantly, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Knowledgeable attorney and compassionate person
We hired Jason to protect my mother when she was no longer able to make financial decisions. Jason protected her from one of her relatives, who made continuous demands for money. Jason later created an Estate Plan for me.
