Neal Gidvani is currently Chief Operating Officer for Sun Genomics, Inc. located in San Diego, California and no longer engages in the practice of law.  Sun Genomics is a microbiome health company creating custom formulated, precision probiotics through the combined application of genomics, bioinformatics, and microbial physiology. Our product, Floré, is the only one offering state-of-the-art whole genomic testing and precision probiotics fully customized to a person’s gut microbiome. This platform has applications to solve specific issues in areas of infant health, chronic conditions, and food allergies - empowering individuals to manage and augment their microbiome for the first time.
Prior to joining Sun Genomics, Mr. Gidvani previously practiced as Senior Counsel in the Banking & Finance practice group of Greenspoon Marder in Las Vegas, Nevada. Neal has several years of experience representing financial institutions and investment groups with all matters related to foreclosure including; mediation, regulatory compliance and general litigation. Additionally, Mr. Gidvani assisted Greenspoon Marder in developing its regulated substances practice on the west coast as he has spent the last few years working with state and local officials representing clients develop businesses related to the cannabis industry.Â
The Nevada Business Magazine named him as a member of the Legal Elite in Southern Nevada and was listed every year as a Rising Star in the Super Lawyers Magazine for banking and real estate attorneys from 2013 and 2018.
Prior to joining Greenspoon Marder, Mr. Gidvani maintained his own practice, Silvestri Gidvani, P.C. Â At Silvestri Gidvani, P.C., Mr. Gidvani worked with large financial institutions, technology star-ups, constructions managers and private equity firms advising on issues of federal and state compliance, contract disputes and foreclosure actions.
Mr. Gidvani graduated from the The University of Iowa College of Law with honors in 2008. Â During law school, he served as a writer for the Iowa Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems and was awarded the Sandy Boyd University of Iowa College of Law Non-Profit Service Award. Â Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Gidvani earned his B.A. in International Studies and B.S. in Political Science from The University of Iowa.
