Alisha A. Wood

The evening after my DUI arrest I realized I am in serious trouble. Friend of mine recommended me Alisha Wood and I can say this was a great choice. Alisha and her co-worker Carmen are young energetic and super nice people and mainly, 100% professionals. They know exactly what they are doing and are ...very efficient. With speeding and having .17 BAC I was facing serious consequences including jail time, loosing my license for many months, installation of car ignition interlock device in my car for up to a year (that, I learned, includes installation, calibration and monthly rental fees) and several days of public work service. None of that happened thanks to Alisha. From the beginning they let you feel that you are in good hands, which I think is extremely important. Every meeting with Alisha and Carmen was a pleasure and in spite of discussing serious matters, the time spent in the office was enjoyable and reassuring. While I have not completed all the court requirements yet, it seems that the worst time is in the past. I ended up with 3 mo DUI program, court fee (of course) , 30 days of hard suspension and 6 mo restricted driver license (and of course RS-22 insurance for 3 years (not that bad...)). Well, it is a lesson, but looking back it could have been much worse. Mainly, during all that time I had a peace of mind , so I could focus on my family and work. I was very pleased how Alisha Wood handled my case. It was my first arrest for a DUI and it was a very stressful few days leading up to my meeting with Alisha Wood and the rest of the Casey and Wood team. I was able to explain exactly what happened to me on the evening of my incident so they could gi...ve me an accurate assessment of the potential outcomes. Due to the fact that it was my first offense and my BAC was relatively low(but still above the legal driving limit), they said that there was a possibility for a the judge to rule it down to a wet reckless charge. The key with the entire team was to be proactive on my end so if any documentation or other information was needed from me, I had to be sure to be prompt. This in turn helped them move the case along and meet court and DMV hearings. Alisha specifically put me at ease when I needed to meet in their office to give a recorded statement to my car insurance company regarding the events that led to the arrest. Alisha was there every step of the way to guide me in talking to the adjuster. The judge ruled my case to be a wet reckless. Although I still have to attend DUI classes and pay lesser court fees, I am not responsible for any community service hours. I was very pleased with the Alisha, as well as the entire team at Casey and Wood. Although, I do not wish this process on anyone, I do know that it is a reality and I would highly recommend them if I ever find a friend or family member that has made a poor decision like myself and needs an attorney. In addition, everyone on the team was prompt with me when I sent an email or called them. And they had no problems answering questions or repeating themselves when I was in doubt.

So I got myself into an unfortunate situation involving drinking and driving (twice the limit), and a car accident with an unoccupied parked vehicle. This was my first offense. After being booked and going to jail I was able to make bail and figured I needed to seek legal counsel to for assistance as... I put my career into serious jeopardy with this issue. Also meeting Mr. Casey in person, I really appreciated that he didn't make false promises, he gave it to me straight which is really what I wanted, needed and appreciated hearing. Ever since I retained Casey & Wood, their office has been the best resource and guide for me throughout the whole ordeal. I have some understanding of how the legal process works I know things don’t happen overnight and ultimately they wouldn’t hear much from me unless they needed me to do something. If I was called or emailed I would be in touch immediately and do whatever was asked as quickly as possible. They made me feel like I was their first priority so I wanted to return the favor and I made myself available to do whatever was asked of me. Again, I really felt like the entire office cared about me and my case. With all their hard work they wrapped up my case quickly and were able to secure a very good deal on my behalf. I am beyond happy that they were able to do this especially with the holidays fast approaching and the new year coming up. I could not be more happy with the service Casey and Wood provided me! I had Ms. Alisha Wood, Ms. Courtney Reimers and Ms. Lauren Angelos working with me and making sure I was well informed during the entire process. Anytime I needed them, they were there. I received a DUI with a B.A.C of 0.18 and hit a concrete barrier so I was charged with DUI/Hit and Run. After a lot of research I found that Casey and Woods had the best reviews and reputation of fighting for you. Plus the added fact that all they handle is DUI cases was important to me so I went a...head and hired them and I do not regret that I did. Alisha is a remarkable person and lawyer for what she has accomplished. Along with her team of Matt Springmeyer and Carmen Galvan they were able to get my Hit and Run dropped, The high B.A.C. suppressed and although the prosecutor wanted a Interlocking device for more then a year they were able to work out no Interlocking device in which I am trully grateful for so I don't have to be reminded everytime I drive of the mistake I made. Another benefit was that I never had to show up in court they represented for me and kept me up to date of what was going on.
